Chicken Fiesta — Restaurant in Virginia

This location has horrible customer service and constantly messes up orders. I fault myself for not driving past tonight. I was experiencing stomach pain and didn't have an appetite for much, but decided a chicken chalupa salad might be tolerable. I ordered one without cheese because I'm lactose intolerant. I watched the young man who packed my order open the box, look at my ticket again, and then place the salad in the bag. I get home and discover the salad is loaded with cheese.

I call and the associate apologizes, confirms I did in-fact state, "no cheese," but then proceeds to inform me that the only way I can get a refund is to bring the order back or call corporate. Seriously? I informed her that they were already a minute past closing time and I live over 25 mins away. Even if it were earlier in the day, I wouldn't make a 50 min round trip for a $15 purchase, and I wouldn't be on that side of town anytime soon. The customer friendly/oriented thing to do would be to just issue the refund, but she literally just kept repeating their policy.

The crazy part is, I probably would have accepted a voucher, if offered. Instead, I was offered an option they knew I couldn't exercise and out of money for food I can't eat. The fact that their employee knew the order wasn't made correctly rubs more salt into the wound.

So excited that this was finally nearby. Arrived at the drive thru around 6pm on a Saturday. There was a couple of cars ahead of me, but the line moved quickly When arriving at the speaker there is a sign up that read something about this menu doesn't list all of the food items that they offer. So I had to pull up my phone real quick and check out the menu online. I decided on a quarter dark meat chicken with rice and pinto beans. Reasonably priced. The associate was very friendly and professional. When I arrived home, I began to eat. The rice wasn't flavorful. But the beans were definitely great. The chicken was good although when I got to middle of it, it was alittle pink. So after that I was unable to enjoy it. It looked to me to be alittle undercooked. Disappointing because I was enjoying the flavors of the rotisserie chicken piece. I will try again at a later date. But I will make sure I eat inside just in case the issue...

We went through the drive-thru at the Chester Chicken Fiesta and ordered a family pack. After waiting about 10 minutes at the window, we were told to pull into parking spot 1, where we waited another 10 minutes. When we got home and opened our order, the beans were extremely watery and had no flavor at all. The quality at this location is nowhere near the standard of the Colonial Heights, Midlothian, or Broad Street Chicken Fiesta locations.

I don’t know what’s going on with the management here, but the lack of consistency is obvious. The beans we received this evening were especially disappointing and tasted nothing like the flavorful, well-prepared beans we’ve had at other locations.
