Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Virginia

I have always loved Church's Chicken 🐔! This was my late father's favorite restaurant, their jalapeños peppers and jalapeños bombers was his favorite menu items. Not to mention their hot deep fried crispy chicken and honey biscuits were to die for too!

Today was my first time in so long visiting and dining at Church's Chicken 🐔 . In fact I don't think I remember doing so since i did so with my late father. 🕊 Rest in Peace Eddie H. Goodwin 🕊

This Brought back so many wonderful memories I've shared with my father at Church's Chicken. My Wife whom my father cherished and loved as if she was his own daughter I have to & must thank for brining about this unforgettable experience today!

Oh excuse my rambling lol tears 🥲 (happy tears). And not to forget their new Frosted Honey-Butter Biscuits which are an upgrade to their already famous Honey Butter Biscuits, which are already dang gon good-n-tasty, got me acting like Martin the comedian does on his TV show Martin about his mama's biscuits 🤣

This place is a complete mess! Ordered online and put drive thru for pick up. Got to drive thru and they said we had to come inside. Go inside and one order was done byt my other one was being bagged. My order was missing the extra piece of chicken i paid for and the gurl got an attitude when i told her it was not in the box. The food was cold and tasted old like it was sitting for hours. Cole slaw was dry and had no taste. Will not be going back..

Then today i had an uber eats delivery from here and same girls working order was suppose to be ready when i got there. Waited about 10 minutes before the girl asked me what i needed then she eventually got to making the food after other orders that had just walked in.. it was about 2pm and there was over 100 pieces of chicken cooked sitting on the rack above the fryers and they were just serving them like they were just cooked. I waited for about 25 minutes for the order to ready and it was not cooked fresh. All food was sitting around.

Anyways this is first time eating here and my very last.. very poor customer service. I wish i could...

So many folks including my wife said that this Church's was great but I didn't get the "Great" experience. The wait was very long and I was the 3rd person in line. A customer was making comments about every bit of food and items when people were making orders and was not giving a positive light on anything. The cashier had to speak up and ask her to stop commenting and "Making things Worse". Her exact words. I had to go back in for missing items which took almost 15 minutes. I will never know why it takes that long for 2 jalapenos and a pie. And last but not definitely not least, when my wife bit into her piece of chicken it was STILL UNCOOKED. I waited far too long just for my food to be handed to me and not be cooked all the way. The only good I can say about this "Experience" is that they asked if I wanted Regular or spicy because they didn't have regular wings at the time. I was not happy. I won't bash any further but...
