1949 WineHouse and More — Restaurant in Petersburg

My wife made a reservation on line, thinking it was legit. When we and a couple friend of ours arrived there at the reservation time, we were told that they didn't do reservation. The hosts weren't friendly at all, and said that what was online wasn't from them, and they were aware of the fraudulent site, and were "looking into getting it taken down". They made us all feel like it was our fault that the fraudulent site was online. We left very disappointed, as they said they didn't have any available tables. But as we looked around, there were empty tables. When we asked them about them, they said they had a party of 41 people coming ( I thought you all said that you don't do reservation???)Hopefully this business will get better with their customer...

This place was a 5-star spot after my first visit, but unfortunately, today's experience was disappointing. The fried chicken had ZERO flavor, the cocktails were forgettable (wine slushie and strawberry lemonade martini), and I waited more than 20 minutes just for a side of cabbage. Eventually, I gave up and asked for the bill.

Credit where it’s due the staff was kind and professional, and they did send me off with the cabbage to go. The ambiance also remains...
