Duck Donuts — Restaurant in Virginia

I came into this location because my kids were really wanting some donuts. The young girl that attended us told me the wait would be at least 15 minutes, I was okay with that - mind you I was the ONLY person inside the store at the time. I waiting almost 30 minutes. She made my coffee and said “have a good day” and yes SHE KNEW I was still waiting for my donuts. The young man by the window asked me what number I had and I told him, he checked up on me again and when he spoke to me in Spanish I let him know the girl took my order. She saw me speaking to him and she FINALLY gave him my number to make my donuts, 30 MINUTES LATER. Of course the nice young man was livid and she ROLLED HER EYES AT HIM in front of everyone waiting. She’s horrible. She needs to quit!!!!! She has a horrible attitude. Don’t like like your job, LEAVE!!!!!!! She has a reddish curly looking hair with a TRASH...

Do not order on a holiday. I waited for 45 min more for an order than the estimate given of when it would be ready for Mother’s Day. The staff have no good way to streamline their processes. They just try and help where they can but there is no coordinated effort to get a mass amount of orders done. Whoever is the manager did a poor job of adapting. There was also no communication. A crapload of people were waiting in the tiny store for online orders and they didn’t even call out ready orders to try and get people out the door. You had to go up and ask if your order was ready (which half the time it wasn’t).

The donuts are OK. Definitely not worth...

First, the donuts are amazing, as expected from this franchises. Quality is at least as good as other local Duck Ds. But the on-site ordering experience has been awful all three times I've been, regardless of time of day or day of week. This past Wednesday evening, when the place was practically empty, it took longer for me to order my donut sundae than it did for them to make it. I haven't had this issue at any other location (and I've been to quite a few). They need to spend more time making sure the employees know the menu and the POS interface as well as they know how to make donuts. It's still new though, so hopefully...
