I recently had an unfortunate experience at Jersey Mike's, and I feel compelled to share my feedback so that no one else has to deal with the frustration I have dealt with in the last week. Here's what happened:
I placed an order for pickup at Jersey Mike's. When I arrived, I was informed that they were dealing with a plumbing emergency and couldn't fulfill my order. Fair enough—emergencies happen. However, the chaos inside the store was palpable, and the person at the front counter seemed overwhelmed.
To add insult to injury, the employee who broke the bad news was in the middle of eating a sandwich. Their demeanor didn't inspire confidence—I didn't feel reassured that my money would be refunded promptly by the manager in the morning. My worries were confirmed when I saw on my banking app that I was charged, and as the days went by, my worry went to anger as the "pending" charge became an actual charge. Over $40 for never receiving any food.
After leaving the store empty-handed, I contacted customer support multiple times to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, it took nearly a week for them to respond. No explanation was provided for the "manager" never following up, which left me frustrated to say the least.
When they finally got back to me, it wasn't with a prompt refund. Instead, they offered to send me points, or to be forwarded to the location's owner/manager. While I appreciate finally getting a response, it doesn't address the fact that I was inconvenienced and paid for a meal I never received. The prospect of waiting yet another week for a response added to my frustration so I asked that they send me the points instead, since I did not have faith that I would ever have any follow up (They have not proven to be dependable since they did not issue my refund in the first place). The customer service rep did not seem to read my response and instead gave me a canned response about forwarding my issue to the manager.
To date, I have not received a refund nor points.
In summary, Jersey Mike's's handling of this situation left much to be desired. I hope they improve their communication and customer service in the future. As for me, I'll be looking elsewhere for my sub fix. I recommend Paisano's, I have never had issue with their...

From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff was overwhelmed and disorganized. Several employees looked frustrated or completely checked out, and after dealing with the manager myself, I understood why. The manager was dismissive, rude, and clearly had no interest in helping customers or supporting their team. Instead of solving problems, they seemed more focused on blaming everyone else and acting annoyed that customers even had concerns.
My order was wrong — not once, but twice — and when I brought it to their attention, the manager rolled their eyes and acted like I was the problem. No apology, no accountability, just a condescending attitude. I watched them treat their own employees the same way, which made the entire atmosphere tense and unpleasant.

Read moreThis is by far the worst Jersey Mike’s I have ever been to. I’ve been here twice now. The first time, they were incredibly slow and seemingly unhappy with life. I ordered a club, and when I got to work, I noticed they forgot the mayo and bacon (which is pretty much what makes the sandwich a club altogether). The second time, I ordered a club again. They made me an Italian, so I had to have them start over. Then they put the wrong toppings on it, so they had to undo that. Then they forgot the bacon again, so I had to correct them there. All the while, the staff was miserable, huffing, puffing, sighing, literally dragging their feet, moving slowly, rolling their eyes… I don’t know if it’s the management, or the hiring process or what, but I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I love the food, but the staff here is abysmal. I worked at a Jersey Mike’s years ago, and our staff was always pleasant, friendly, energetic, and we actually moved with a sense of pace and urgency.
