OMG I don't know how I've never stumbled upon this place. It's in a run down shopping center most people don't go to anymore, but don't let that fool you. I saw this place advertised on Postmates, and decided to try it. I am not huge on chain pizza places. The food is crazy good! I tried their calzone, which is one of the best calzones I've ever had. I only order cheese calzones, and a lot of times a good third of the calzone is bread on the ends. This was super stuffed with cheese, and had great flavor. Their fettuccini is amazing! Way better than olive garden or any other restaurant around here. The ravioli was good, and their pizza is delicious. I was super excited that they had eggplant as a topping. They gave me tons of eggplant on my slice, and it was delicious. Their pizza is NY style but a little thick at the same time so that it doesnt just flop over and then all of the toppings fall off. My experience at Astoria pizza across the street was a complete disaster twice, do yourself a favor and go across the street to Joe's, it is my new go to spot. The prices are really reasonable as well. I got a tiny greasy pizza with the cheese completely fallen off and 5 inches of disgusting inedible lasagna at Astoria. I received a huge calzone, 2 huge slices of pizza with toppings, ravioli, fettuccine, and a drink for the same price. The delivery was also really fast, and arrived...
Read moreMy toddlers and I had a wonderful time at Joe's Place for lunch. The people are friendly and helpful, and the food is beautiful and delicious. There were only a few other customers during our visit, so it was nice and quiet and service was prompt. I really wanted to try their famous "Hippie Rolls," but my boys were determined to eat pizza. We snacked on a very large French fry plate as an appetizer with homemade ketchup for under $2. It was very yummy, but next time I'll know not to get the fries, because the pizza came out so quickly. We ordered the Hawaiian Pizza and it was loaded with pineapple! These people definitely give you your money's worth. I spent less than $20 and walked out with leftovers and happy kids (happy mom!). I will definitely be returning! Thanks for a good time,...
Read moreI went here after reading the reviews. I ordered the chicken marsala and it turned out to be more like a cordon blue . Breaded with a slice of ham and cheese on top . No flavor of marsala wine in the pasta. For $18 dollars I feel ripped off. When I asked to speak to a manager or owner ,the staff didn't know when they would be available to address my problem. I just had to pay full price for my un eaten meal and apparently it was my fault for ordering. I'm from Dallas Texas and sadly am disappointed with their way of handling this. The server asked me if al least the service was good and regretfully is was bad. I normally tip 20 to 25 percent. This is the first time I have not tipped. I eat out all the time because my job requires me to travel 11...
