Dear Kayden Appliance: Do what you say you are going to do!
This is a two part review, based on the washing machine purchased and the sales staff/store, and the delivery:
Part 1: The Store and Staff: The store is well organized and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a pretty good amount of inventory to choose from (we needed a washer) and the machines on the floor were clean and well maintained. The staff was both helpful and attentive, but also willing to let me browse in peace, something that helps me make a better decision. I'm a slow thinker. I have a high opinion of the sale staff and store. The washing machine they sold me was in good condition and a decent bargain.
Part 2: Delivery: I paid 50$ to have my washing machine delivered and the old machine removed. Kayden Appliance was unable to deliver on any days I was off from work so I accepted that they would deliver when my wife was home and she could show them where the machine goes. In all fairness, getting the old machine out of the room was going to be difficult - that's why I paid someone 50$ to do it. The flippers that renovated our house before we bought it did not leave enough room between the door and a ground level heating duct to get the machine out, so some lifting was going to be necessary to get the old machine over the duct. The new machine was delivered and installed without issue but the delivery personnel did not remove the old machine. They told my wife it was too difficult to remove with only two people and they would need to come back when I was home.
That's ok, I get that it was hard to get out and they need to come back. I called them a week later when I was off and told them they can come get the old machine any time in the next three days because I was home and available. I was told by Kayden Appliance they would call me back when they were ready to come get the old machine. I was very clear about when I was available and gave them plenty of time to coordinate, but they never called me back and never showed up. I guess they already got my money and didn't care about keeping me happy anymore. I ended up moving the old washing machine out by myself (yes, I did on my own what two people couldn't do, apparently).
I paid you 50$ to perform a service for me. You did not perform the service. You ripped me off, and I'm pretty irritated about it, and you cost me a lot of time and effort. 0 stars for the delivery service. I'm doing two stars total for this review because I'm so irritated at how lazy these guys were. They left the problem for their customer to deal because once they have their customer's money they don't give an F.
Moral of the story: If you're going to shop at Kayden Appliance, make sure you are around when the delivery guys show up, because they don't do their job. Just writing this review is making me angry...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was a weird experience. But ended up working out. I understand getting a used appliance is like getting a new car. You don't know something will happen. Well not even 30 days of buying a used fridge and it goes out and of course or food went bad. I tried to call them and 1 number isn't working and the other goes straight to vm. I left a vm and texted it and no response after a day. My husband went in and told the lady what happened and our food went bad and it seemed like she didn't care or have any sympathy. She just gave us this number to the manager, so we called it and texted it and no response. So I called it again and he finally picked up. He apologized and said he will bring another one tomorrow before 10am. He did and he gave us a check for $50 for our food we had to throw away. Even though our food cost over $100, I appreciated that. We hope this one last longer. I will keep you posted. They definitely need to get the number fixed or change the number on Google, plus be better...

Complete satisfied with the customer service, and delivery (which was a extra cost BUT reasonably priced). Would definitely recommend this new store, saved a lot of money. Good people and definitely honest. April 2017.
Addendum to the original post: This place buys returned new appliances from āBest Buy like storesā (Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy and the likesā appliances store that they may not want to repair or arenāt covered under warranties etc. Either way, the conditions of most on display are passable and in good condition. Nothing in horrible condition. The have a variety of appliance. This is just a personal opinion thing, from our experience, Samsung refrigerators tend to ice up over time and block the fan. Which produce these weird sounds, then you start having issues with the drainage. Just my two cents...
