We ordered takeout. Very friendly and quick service. Clean dining area and sushi bar. For the food, I would say it’s on the sweet side. And honestly, most of the family enjoyed it but a few of us did not like how sweet it was. We ordered several different dishes: Veggie Mei Fun (sadly the same price as ones with meat option), general tso chicken, crispy beef, basil pork fried rice, shrimp egg rolls, and spring rolls. Shrimp egg rolls lacked shrimp, spring rolls had almost zero filling, the crispy beef was too sweet and tasted exactly like the general tso. The mei fun was probably my favorite thing but it did have a strong fish flavor. The basil fried rice was tasty but nothing special of $12.99. It was regular fried rice with a few leaves of basil. For the $5 difference, I would just order the regular version. Over all, it wasn’t terrible and everyone was fine with the food. I would suggest a little less sweet and possibly changing some prices for the lack of ingredients.

I went 9-3-2023; Asian staff, and some appearred to know have a lot of English. I got broccoli and shimp, with rice, and ice tea. Total $21. Food okay - but not like the Asian restaurant Allan's in Powhatan. I been to Allans weekly for years. My meal had big pieces of broccoli and big shrimp. Rice was smallin size, and I picked brown rice. Interesting visit, total of 5 customers on a Sinday around 1. Waiter brouhg a carryout meal to front on a cart, after he gave it to someone, the cart turn around and drove itself back to the kitchen = never seen that before.

First time visit. We were sat immediately as the restaurant was not busy on a Tuesday evening. We did see a lot of takeout orders which may account for the lack of people in the restaurant. The service was fine. The menu is well rounded with Thai, sushi and Chinese items to choose from. The food was served hot and in a reasonable time. The meals were very good and we anticipate returning soon.

Haven't stopped by here for years. I have tried their Chinese food several times before, which I would give a 4 out of 5. They do well with the basic dishes but I judge most places based on their Hunan Chicken and I did not like their version of it.

This new review is mainly a rating of the Pad See Ew. Given I think this place is primarily an Americanized Chinese restaurant first and Thai second, I did not have high expectations for the Pad See Ew but wanted to give it a try anyway.

The sauce was actually not bad. Of course it can't compare to other good Thai restaurants over in West End, Carytown or Mechanicsville but for what it is, it was tasty. I also asked for spicy and I really appreciated that the sauce was decently spicy. Probably on the level of a medium at a legit Thai restaurant, which is actually spicier than so many Thai joints in the area that serve such mild "Thai Hots."

The main gripe I had with this dish was the beef. It was not cooked well. It had the flavor of beef that was not seasoned properly before being cooked or was not cooked with the dish but added after everything else in the dish had been done. It had a flavor that did not blend in with the rest of the dish and it was cut in chunks and had a slightly chewy texture. I sensed that had this beef been in a Chinese Beef and Broccoli dish, it would have been just fine bit in this dish, it was not properly prepared.

The size of the dish and the quantity of meat was generous. I think for 14.83 with tax, they gave a very good amount of food.

In the future, I wouldn't order the Pad See Ew with beef but might be willing to try it with chicken, just to see if the meat blends in better. Probably not though. I'd recommend just stick to the...

Last night I had a very frustrating experience speaking to the manager on duty named Adul! So my family has ordered from this restaurant multiple times over the past year…we are consistent as we mostly order the same thing. This time however one of our meals looked different than it normally does. We ordered the Singapore noodles as it was told to us that it was gluten free and extra vegetables and not spicy. So there was no sauce and hardly any vegetables let alone extra. I thought it would be a simple thing to call and get a refund or have them remake. So Adul the manager takes me in a round-robin conversation where he attempted to make it seem like I ordered wrong and says well they will redo it but I have to give them the mistake meal. I say sure. We took like two bites, it wasn’t made well. No one was gonna eat it so they could have it back. Don’t think he was expecting me to agree because he then put me on hold, in which time he apparently goes to check all of my previous orders on his data base. Tells me, (short version) i made a mistake in my original order. and apparently another mistake when trying to correct it by not saying exactly what I said last time. I was asked if I would like extra chicken with the extra vegetables for the make up order, so I say yes. Uh oh well apparently that’s a deviation from what I originally ordered and I’ll have to just pay for them to remake it properly. There’s more but this is just ridiculous. We were having family night and just wanted to eat and hang out but my mother ended up just watching us eat. Adul I am not happy with your customer service. Obviously there was a miscommunication with the order and there were so many much better ways to...

The food quality is really good in my opinion. The ability to customize your order is nice. They have never told me no to any random order we have made. 🤣 They are sticklers about getting your food on time, however, that just ensures that your food isn't sitting forever which is good. Also, they are quick with your orders. By the time you order and drive there your food is ready.

The food isn't too greasy which is key for me. The veggies aren't mushy. Flavors are always great. The fried rice isn't that yellow nonsense, which is perfect for me. Egg rolls, crab rangoon texture is good. They are great about not overcooking stuff. No stale after taste. I can personally be sensitive to certain smells and tastes. Especially with certain spices and oils so I apologize for the crazy detail. But for anyone out there it might help this is for you. 🤣

They are really nice about replacing the food if for any reason it needs to be. The only thing I dislike is that their lunch portions are really tiny compared to any other place I've been even when paying close to the same amount as well as same type of order.

The environment is nice. Inside is a little small but its cute and booths to sit. Normally we order and pick up just because its preference. Over all I cant really complain and I'm super picky about Asian food. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I recommend to everyone I know! 😍...
