The only reason I give one star it’s because some of the associates are very nice and polite. I place my mobile orders from this Mc Donalds almost every morning before going to my office and never had an issue. Today the Mobile App was crashing so it couldn’t process my payment (2nd time that happens, but it’s ok, that’s how technology is). I decided to check in on the App to pick up my mobile order through Drive thru. The cashier couldn’t find my order and for some reason he went to get a Manager. She came and explained exactly the same he did without offering a solution. With the mobile order I get deals, but I told her to just submit a new order there, which was way more expensive, but I was ok with it. It was already getting longer than I expected, and when I go to the window to pick up the food the lady said 5 minutes to wait for my coffee. I told her to just reimburse the money because I gotta make it back to the office. The manager gets all mad, and started speaking in spanish, thinking that I couldn’t understand, probably because I don’t look hispanic. I told her she didn’t have to start speaking in spanish to vent so I couldn’t understand, because I speak spanish as well. It was disrespectful and degrading for the Mc Donalds brand, that sells so much the “smiles”! I was there for around 20 minutes since I parked in the curbside until I left. I can deal with wait time without problem, but I needed to make it to a meeting. I do not get annoyed with wait time, but when a person is disrespectful I can’t tolerate that. Read moreI never go to McDonalds but I came just this once for a collaboration they were doing with Genshin Impact. I went with my partner, and we ordered online. Although part of our order was not ready, we agreed to take half of the order and eat it patiently while waiting for the rest of our order. However, when the other order came out, it was not as advertised. It was supposed to come with themed box that was being advertised on screens around the store. We politely asked if they had the box and one of the workers went to check and then never came back. We went to the front to check in and were eventually met by Manager Sonia. I have seen several reviews complaining about this woman and this review is no different. She was immediately hostile and began acting as if we were unreasonable to be asking about just a “simple box.” We had approached the situation very politely but her hostile nature threw us off. She insulted us for asking for refund when we had eaten some of the food already, but this is because we were waiting for the other half of our order which had the advertised box we cared most about. I understand it’s just McDonald’s and not a big deal at the end of the day, but this manager needs to be fired based on how many bad experiences people seem to be having with her. I also want to add that I was willing to compromise at one point by just getting a refund for the box and food included, but she immediately made a snarky remark to my partner who was the main person speaking to her about how he should be nicer and it’s not a big deal. Read moreI just went through the drive thru and ordered a six piece chicken nugget happy meal and one extra six piece chicken nuggets from the value menu. The woman taking my order put two happy meals and two 6 piece value meals. I told her I didn’t want that many. I just want one of each. She argued with me saying that she only had one and I was like ma’am. I’m looking at the screen right now and it’s definitely two. She then copped an attitude, and still maintaining that it’s one while I’m watching her correct the items on the screen. Then, I roll up and they give me the wrong food. They overcharged me gave me too much food so that I’m staying there in the drive-through with this poor young girl while they’re calling me names in Spanish, which I understand perfectly, and I ended up having to take the food in order not to hold up the entire line of McDonald’s because the two older women in the background, one of which was the drive-through worker and I think the other one was the manager, wanted to ignore the drive-thru employee, and not refund me. For one if you’re gonna do a job, you better do it right, and if your customer is telling you that it’s wrong, just fix it. There’s no reason for copping an attitude when I was perfectly polite up until that point. Give me what I ordered and don’t overcharge me. It’s that simple.
