CHEAP FOR A REASON! Here’s my experience:

Called and asked prior to booking and told her multiple times that i had coarse PCOS hair and If the laser they had would work with my condition. Goma said yes so I trusted her “expertise” and booked a package deal of 6. The so called “certified professional” asked no questions regarding my skincare history such as the use of retinoids or any other skin conditions. Had to tell her myself. Post-lasering, I clearly showed and expressed dissatisfaction. All the hair follicles were still on my face same as when I shaved the night before and upon expressing this concern she said the hair would just “fall off”. She should have told me during the phone call that the laser they have is not suitable for PCOS facial hair. It’s just a waste of time and money if you’re gonna get lasered from here because the laser is not powerful enough unless you don’t have PCOS hair. Asked for a refund but she got defensive over the phone and said she will still take money for one session worth of lasering ($120). Cool. Got my leftover refund, apologized, and asked about their micro needling service so I could still get another service done from there in the future and she said “I don’t feel comfortable working with you”. Lol. Ok. I was basically being denied the micro needling service even though it wouldn’t be done by her, but an actual NURSE. Thank God I only paid half ($300) there of the full $600 for the 6 sessions after my FIRST AND LAST treatment. I’ve been to another PROFESSIONAL lasering CLINIC so when I experienced this, I knew it wasn’t right and that I had to walk out of this. Never getting lasering done at any salon ever again. Only go here for light things such as eyebrow threading, waxing, haircuts, etc. Extremely disappointed in the store owner (Goma) not taking customer satisfactory conplaints seriously. Sticking to my previous lasering location at the clinic. Would rather spend a few extra bucks at a clinic that shows care, quality, and effort. I am writing to express how bad my experience was at Salon and Day Spa – Manassas. I decided to have scalp micropigmentation (SMP) here based on what I read about Goma and her assurances that she was trained and experienced in applying SMP.

Goma lied to me and did not know what she was doing and delivered terrible SMP results. I should have known to walk out when I watched her spill the ink on the counter and try to pick it back up off the counter for continued use. This was surely a health code violation. Additionally, I saw she was using normal tattoo ink instead of ink designed for SMP but again I trusted she knew what she was doing.

Goma’s work was terrible – she inserted the ink too deep which resulted in large blue dots and she failed to distribute the ink evenly. I expressed concern immediately and she stated it was “normal” which really indicated she didn’t know what she was doing or was dishonest.

Goma stated she would fix her mistakes since she had a tattoo removal laser. She completed two laser sessions to remove her work which did not work. I then asked for a refund of my money and she gave me 50% back and stated she would continue to treat the SMP with her laser. I attempted to schedule a third session and she now stated there was fee. Goma wanted to be paid to correct the mistakes she made. I told her that was insane to ask me to pay to fix her mistakes and she stated I was threatening her.

Bottom line is that Goma is incompetent at SMP and laser tattoo removal and dishonest in that she failed to follow through with her commitment to correct her mistakes. This was an expensive and embarrassing experience doing business at this Salon and I would encourage others to learn from...

I've been coming here for years and the Owner Goma is amazing and I'm telling you she is the BEST in the area for brows! I haven't found anyone better to do microblading for my brows and I couldn’t be happier with my results every time! She also does great a threading. Goma really pays attention to details.

From start to finish, the experience was flawless. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my desired shape and style. The salon was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, making me feel completely at ease throughout the process.

The precision and attention to detail were impressive. The strokes look so natural that no one can even tell I had them done—it just looks like I have naturally full, well-shaped brows! The healing process was smooth, thanks to the aftercare instructions provided.

If you're looking for the best microblading service that is also AFFORDABLE, this is the place to go. I've spent hundreds more at other places & the results didn't compare or they took my money & didn't care. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone who wants beautifully enhanced brows that look effortless and last long! I get compliments all the time, thanks to Goma and her spa.
