A Deli Italian Food — Restaurant in Virginia

I was super excited to try A Deli Italian Food after reading so many great wonderful reviews, I was debating between this location and Jersey Mike's, Subway and even Potbelly's and then the food came and was sooooooooooooooooooo disappointed. I ordered an 8" steak and cheese sub ($9.79) adding grilled peppers (.25), grilled onions (.25), grilled mushrooms (.25) w/ lite lettuce, tomato, raw onions, banana peppers and mayo on the side. The driver was very nice and courtesy. I opened the bag and the paper was soggy and leaking and I was looking for the container of mayo I requested on the side, which was non-existent. To my dismay I unpacked the sub to find mayo ON THE SUB, no grilled peppers, no grilled mushrooms, no grilled onions that I paid extra for. The meat was EXTREMLY overcooked and dry, I called A Deli and explained the issue only to be told by the individual on the other end that I was lying and the grilled items are on the bottom under the meat, and I explained that I took the sub apart and there was no grilled items and then the individual said that the grilled items were on top of the meat and under the cheese. I requested that the sub be remade and delivered, the individual said he would give me a discount. FOR WHAT? For requesting that my sub be made the right way that I requested and paid for...the individual agreed to deliver another steak and cheese sub that way I requested. Upon delivery I check to make sure I received the correct sub and in fact I did not, this time I received a classic sub, which I did not request. I called back and was told by the individual that the order that was delivered was in fact the correct sub, I requested a complete refund of my entire order only to discovered I was charged over $30 for two subs, I will be disputing this charge. As a first time customer I will NEVER recommend this location to anyone. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY, just go somewhere else, you'll be...

By far THE BEST New York style Classic Italian sub you will find. My wife and I always stop here on the way to Jiffy Lube Live concerts and order their very large Classic Italian sub with a little extra dressing and a couple of V8s. They also have booths, a small counter, and a four-top table you can sit down at. He even has a couple of two top tables out in front of their store so you can enjoy eating your sandwich outside on a beautiful day. Enjoy your sandwich with a bottle of Italian beer. They have more than one to choose from. An eleven dollar sub you can make 2 meals out of or share with your best girl. Outstanding!!! We also stop in whenever we go to shop at Manassas Walmart. While this has been one of my favorite go to spots for subs for MANY years, I am going to have to say they seem to be going down hill. Today I ordered 3 super zap subs. They each had different ingredients listed for them but they are listed VERY clearly on the receipt. Yet somehow, they still managed to mess up every sub I received. The one without mayo ended up with mayo and the 2 that were supposed to have mayo, did not. This is not the first time this has happened recently but gave them the benefit of the doubt the first couple. I don't know if this is due to new staff or what but it is VERY unfortunate seeing that i paid $40 for 3 - 8" subs and the fact that they do not put as much meat on them as they used to. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning.
