I hope McDonald Corporate pulls the recorded video from June 6, 2024 between 5-5:20pm at this location. In that short video you will see what had transpired which resulted to me and my 11yr old son being escorted out of the restaurant.
I had originally placed my order through the app instead, my 11yr old son wanted to go inside the Restaurant to eat. I get greeted by TOM the manager (purple shirt) with this greeting “what’s the problem, sir!” I was just originally talking to Employees, just asking if I could pick up my order and then Tom comes in with that phrase and that tone as if I was bothering them!! I proceeded to tell Tom that I did not have a problem and that I just wanted to come in and pick up our meal instead of the drive through. He made it like I COMMITTED A CRIME that I came in to pick it up instead of coming through the drive thru. I said I just wanted eat some dinner with my son before his baseball practice.
Then another manager with gold glasses came over and started defending Tom and telling me that I was being rude to his employees My son and I then proceeded to sit down and try to have a nice peaceful dinner when Tom walks by me and laughs loudly ( behind me as he wa walking by) because I was taking the Customer Feedback survey In the restaurant. My 4 minute experience was that bad I felt the need to do the survey right away. Then TOM’s manager with the GOLD GLASSES, I’m assuming was threatened at that point because I was going to leave feedback so corporate can see what’s going on at this particular location. TOM’s manager then proceeds to come harass me and tells me that he’s going to call the cops and remove me from the restaurant. I told him my son is going to finish his meal before baseball practice and we will leave. I did nothing else other than sit there and have dinner with my son before baseball practice, but they were threatened because I was taking a survey in the restaurant.
In my 28 years of customer service background, this is absolutely unacceptable to anybody to be harassed all the way out the door, and Tom’s manager actually followed me out like he was gonna fight me outside in front of my 11yr old son. That was not only embarrassing to my son to be degraded in a restaurant in public place like that is absolutely unacceptable. Any which way you look at it! I will tell everyone I know about this experience because I hope no one else experiences what my 11yr old son and I did.
They then proceeded to “call” The police and say “we have an irate customer who will not leave, oh wait it looks like they’re leaving now, so never mind.” Then He hung up the phone. Really??? He really pretended to call the police? I am livid and very disappointed that my 11-year-old son had to witness that when we were just in there to spend our hard earned money in YOUR restaurant just to be degraded and verbally abused by your Manager TOM and his Manager who had gold glasses on. Both are the rudest public customer service “Managers” I have EVER came across!!
Do not go to this location they will disrespect you like you owe them something!! Instead your just coming in and spend your hard earned money just so they can disrespect and verbally abuse you and your family!
Talk about the “Right Fit for the Right Role” McDonald’s definitely failed by putting these 2 knuckleheads in their...
Read moreThe last 13 times I have ordered food from the McDonalds at 13011 Hull St Rd in Midlothian, VA they have made the food wrong. I order with specific items to be left off my food because of dietary restrictions and 13 out of the last 13 times I have ordered during the mirning shift they have fixed my food and/or drinks wrong. The female morning manager does not apoligize when I call and point this out to her. She tells me to call Doordash and have them comp the meal or she even goes di far as ti tell me she knows it was fixed correctly because she waited fir my order to be fixed before handing out to the Dordash driver. When asked her if she actually look at the food to see if it was made with no butter or onions she is silent, because she may have waited, but does nit kniw if it was made correctly because she did not see the food.
Other staff from her store and other stores have told me she puts workers on the line who can't read, therefor they do not know to leave off certain items. She is rude each time I call tells me tgat Doirdash will refund me and nit to call her again. I suggested she have the indivudusks who can't read do jobs such as working the fryer, making drinkd, cleaning the restaurant, or running food out to oeople waiting for soecual irders and have wirkers who can read filling the orders and she just bliws uo, yelling at me telling me she knows hiw to manage her restaurant and staff and fir niw on to request my foid ve delivered from another McDonalds ir go get ut myself. Doirdash only picks up from the location where she works and I am dusabled, unable to drive as I have told her each time, but she never says she will maje it right she insists I find another way to get someone to go to anither McDonalds if I am dissatisfued with what they are sending out. Why do they give the option to choose to have an ingredient keft off when you order if they are ALWAYS going to make the order wrong. Just down the street us another McDonalds that I go to when I have a driver because they get my irder correct over 90% if the time and are iwned by the same franchise iwner. The differences are they hire employees fir cooking whi can read and if they make a mistake they are overly nice, saying how sorry they are and they refix the food or offer compensation on your next visit. They are never rude and never yell at me but she us always rude, yells at me anytime I call, and hangs up on me saying she has a restaurant to run and does nit have time to deal with me. She has a reputation, accirding to McDonald employees of hiring indivuduals who can't read and havibg them work in pisitions that require them to be abke to read in irder to put out the cirrectly...
Read moreThis is a really decent McDonald's with friendly staff, generally speaking. There does seem to be some confusion among the staff regarding their hours. I've been here twice. The first time, was 3:50 am. I called ahead to make sure they were active open bc there were 80,000 homes without power at the time, and I live 20 minutes away from this location but needed to grab food. When the ngr answered she reassured me they were open and were serving dinner menu until 4am and as long as I got there before then I could order dinner. I pulled up at 3:50 to the drive-thru ordering menu. No one responded to me for several minutes, when he did he informed they were closed. Period. I told him I just spoke to the manager and she told me otherwise. He then said I would have to wait 20-30 minutes because they weren't serving breakfast yet. I told him I wasn't ordering breakfast, that was the whole reason o drove 20 minutes to get there when I did. He then said, I'd have to wait 10-20 minutes of I ordered dinner. CLEARLY this guy did NOT want me to order! I told him I'd wait the 10 to 20 minutes, and finally placed my order.
Then... A few says ago I was down that way for something else and went by to order dinner. The sign on the drive thru window says they close at 11pm. The girl at the window was unaware of their hours or leyscoutvit this way, she said it "varied". I said it shouldn't "vary" the signs should reflect the actual hours. I realize it's not her fault, but again, she was unaware of when this store is actually open or not open too.
And finally, my last complaint: The prices here are almost double that ofvthe McDonald's just 5 miles away. I understand the area has more expensive homes, but do you really think THOSE people are customers? Definitely NOT worth the extra drive to maybe find them open, or not, and to pay more than if you just kept driving 5 more miles. Just my opinion. For the record, except for the guy at drive-thru that tried to convince me to leave, everyone there was courteous, the food was fresh, and...
