Ordered here for the first time. Did not leave me with a good first impression. Hot and sour soup was bland, had all the ingredients except had no taste. I had to season it myself to make it palatable. (tasted good actually, there is still hope). Sweet and sour shrimp. At first they looked like jumbo shrimps fried in batter. That is until you took your first bite. I suppose they don't call it shrimp for nothing. Hidden under 3 or so inches of under cooked batter, was what looked to be shreds of a deflated balloon. If I was to stitch all the shrimp pieces together, maybe there were 2 or 3 whole shrimps at most? In the whole dish, mind you. Come on, shrimps are not that expensive anymore. Oh, we also had the Kung pow chicken. Tasted like,..... nothing. Again no flavor, no vegetables, no spices.. Just a heap of tiny brown chunks (and some peanuts). There was a lot of it though, having more made me feel extra guilty when sliding it into the can. Orange Chicken, tasted just like... the Kung Pow Chicken. Except bigger chunks. French fries, stupid me for ordering French fries at a Chinese Restaurant. I think I have the same frozen fries in the fridge, but oven baking would have been crispier. Fried rice was edible. White rice, its white rice. I feel bad for writing this review, but I think people should have multiple perspectives when looking at reviews. I myself only went there based on other's positive reviews. This review is only of my opinion for this particular visit. Maybe it was the cook's day off. I really hope that...
Read moreI am disappointed with this restaurant after trying it three times. The first time I tried this restaurant, a few months ago, I really liked the food. I don't know if it was cooked extra special that day or what, but I tried it two more times and the food somehow wasn't as good as the first time. This third time, the food was below average. The best thing was probably the General Tso's chicken. The chicken lo-mein wasn't that good, the noodles were rubbery, and the dish could have used some mushrooms and onions. I also was not impressed with the chicken and broccoli dish. I think I liked the broccoli more than the chicken itself, which were covered in a very "generic" sauce, which I did not care for too much. I wish I liked it as much as the first time I tried it. Then it was like 5 out of 5, but not anymore. Also the cashier was not very friendly. I gave the place three tries and probably won't be coming back in the...
Read moreI needed catering quickly for about 20 people. The prices were great, and they were able to take my order with just one day notice. I ordered chicken fried rice, vegetable lo mein, chicken and vegetables, beef and broccoli, sauteed eggplant dish, and sweet and sour chicken. The portions are very generous! We had a lot of food left over even after everyone took some home. No complaints from our guests. Everyone liked it, and several were surprised at how cost friendly their party sizes were. We ended up spending about $300 w/ tip. A lot of my guests liked the eggplant dish.
I highly recommend this place if you're like me and are in a pinch and need party trays fast. However, seeing how guests liked the food, I will definitely be...
