Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

Bought 2 extra large 08/23/17 2:00pm. I've bought Papa John Springfield VA pizza since they opened store. Before I use to always go to Burke VA store; in 30 years never once had a complaint about Burke store. Back to Springfield store, when they first opened, they under-cooked their pizzas. So, I now ask them to cook pizza a minute longer. John, the manager, made my 2 extra large pizzas on 08/23/17; the toppings ENDED about 2 inches from the edge on both pizzas and one pizza had almost all the pizza sauce [for an extra large] in the center and none near the edges. For that pizza, the "dough" in the center, under all that pizza sauce, was UNCOOKED (and I had them add an minute extra to the cooking time to both pizzas, like always). Repeat, the dough in the center was "UNCOOKED," not under cooked! In 30 years of buying and eating Papa John's pizza, that one pizza was by far the worst; I only eat Papa John pizza when it's made properly and cooked properly. "Strongly recommend" that John, the manager, NOT make any more pizzas because he doesn't know how to make a Papa John pizza. The Papa John banner "BETTER INGREDIENTS" is worthless and meaningless if the employee doesn't know how to make a pizza and the employee doesn't know how to cook a pizza. Later that day I called John, the manager, and nicely let him know how poorly he made pizzas. He was apologetic and offered free pizza; I did not accept anything from John, the manager. I will now always be making the longer trip to the Burke VA Papa John store, and unfortunately, eat pizza that is - not as hot -...

If I could, I would give it a zero. I am not used to giving a bad review but this was well deserved. I tried to order online, it was not working, I called to place an order, no one picked up the phone, that was a sign for me to give up but I ended up going to the store to place an order. I clarified 3 times that I needed 3 Pizza. While I was placing an order, there was already an angry customer who has cancelled his order (he gave me a warning too not to order here, I should have listened). Anyway, I paid and left the store and came back 20min later. I received 2 pizza instead and they missed up the toppings too. They charged me $17 for a large cheese pizza and $22 for large veggie pizza (only mushrooms, and black olives and they put onions even though I said not to). They wanted me to wait 57min for the 3rd pizza. I ended up going to another place and got my Veggie pizza with the right toppings for $11 something in 15min.

Fast forward, When we ate the pizza, it taste it terrible and we could not finish it. It did not contain pizza sauce but more of tomato paste.

I know that a lot of places get slammed with orders on Saturday but it still does not justify poor service and orders. I am definitely never ordering from this Papa John's...

I don't understand, if customers aren't allowed to use the restroom, why have a sign where it specifically says " Customers please feel free to use the restroom at your discretion." ? I simply asked the front counter worker when I was picking up an order for Uber and was told to wait, of I could use the restroom? He then replied that he had to ask the manager who then replied loudly, workers only while smiling like He enjoyed the power of not letting someone use the restroom. I told the front counter person what the sign said and he just shrugged looking uneasu about it. The manager on duty tonight definitley needs corrective action, people can clearly see you smirking and acting like you don't care. There was another customer that eas there that agreed with me, why have a sign that says you can use the restroom if you can't. Plus as Uber drivers we help your business by not having to have delivery drivers take your pizza for you. I usually wouldn't make a big deal about it but definitley was fustrated in how the manager handled the issue. He doesn't even seem...
