Would it be wrong to propose Rai's clam pizza & house lager as official late night snack of Loudoun County? For the longest time, I thought there could be no pizza so thin and delightful to the chew other than Crust's Napolitano pizza baked in an imported Italian stone oven. But then I stumble across the singular American equivalent of Napolitano paper- thin crust pizza which has now become our #1 fav for pizza.

It's still a mystery if you can get the same pizza at Rai's Pour House and from Rai's Pizza that is connected next door - because the menu for both places seem slightly different. Let me tell you that my favorite is now the clam pizza. The thickness of crust is paper thin and begs to be slurped up in one huge cheekful bite. The breading at the edge is thinner which means there is just a lot more toppings on cheese to indulge. And being distinctively American, the pizza at Rai's is saltier than most Italian pizza but it washes so well with the beer you should drink with each bite.

For the proscuitto and arugula pizza we were just ok with, we ate the toppings and took home the pizza crust to bake with our own toppings at home.... and the crust with our home-added toppings made for the best home-baked pizza ---- this was something we could not do with...

We were a fan of both Sully's and Rai's Pizza prior to them opening, and were excited to try Rai's Pour House out since they are so close to our house. We've been back a few times and have had nothing but a great experience, even with kids in tow. Note that their pizza apparently does not come from next door, but I think I actually prefer the style they have over the pizza place personally. Wings are also good. They have house beers, which are OK, but also a good selection of other beers. Good place to sit at the bar and watch a game or just hang out and have a sit-down meal.

I also have to shout out for them accommodating a group of what I think ended up being nearly ten adults and kids at the very last minute on St. Patrick's Day, with great attentive food and drink service the whole night. They have a kind of off-to-the-side area up front that they put us in, and we felt like we were getting VIP service all night, which is crazy given we gave pretty much no warning on a busy...

I came here last night, for the first time at this location. I had previously gone to the Ashburn location and had a great experience and loved the food and service. Rai's Sterling was no different. Upon arriving the atmosphere was nice, upbeat and fun along with the decor. I mentioned to the server that I loved the vibe they had going on and he asked if it was my first time there. I explained that it was and he took me on a tour of the place. He showed me around and explained different parts of the place and gave me a brief background and it was wonderful. The food came out quickly, smelled amazing, and tasted even better! Our drinks were constantly refilled, and we were checked on often. And to top it off the music they were playing was awesome. Very happy with my...

This place is unique and brings a much needed experience to Sterling. Tucked away, this place is sure to become an instant classic locals bar with food and pizza that will impress. The steak and cheese rolls are quite possibly the most amazing small bites plate I have ever tried. Original and creative and easy to share. Staff and service were great, and the atmosphere is everything you'd want and expect in a sports bar! This place is a must if you love good food, great service, and great spirits. Bartenders were knowledgeable, friendly, and pizza by the slice makes this place an instant win! Highly recommend!

Checked out the newest kid on the block tonight and had a blast! Service was excellent. Owners couldn’t be nicer. Drinks were basic but solid. And the caprese and pizza we had were both fantastic. It may have been the soft opening but you could have told me they’ve been open for 2 years. Everything seemed to be firing like clockwork. Best of luck to this team on their newest brainchild. This place will be awesome in warm weather when they open up the garage-style doors and reveal their awesome TV setup to both and indoor and outdoor audience!
