We made the mistake of choosing this restaurant for our Mother's Day lunch. There were 4 adults and 4 kids in our group. They told us it would be a little wait, which would be understandable if the restaurant was full. However there were a number of empty tables available... All they had to do was pull two tables together. Keep in mind, there were several tables that were all empty so pulling two together could've easily been done. Instead, we patiently waited and waited for 15 minutes. In that time, we were verbally attacked by a customer leaving the restaurant. Since there were 8 of us waiting to be seated in the very small reception area, my kids were in the customer's way of the exit. Even though I was actively pulling my children closer to me to make room for them, the customer felt the need to say "move out of the way dumb*#$es." Needless to say, I was in shock that a mother could say that to someone else's children (3 and 5 years old) on mother's day off all days. Anyway, we continued waiting to be seated for another 15 minutes! A total of 30 minutes of waiting and still hadn't been seated. We approached the staff to check in a few times over the 30 minutes and their response was always "2 minutes more". After 30 minutes, we gave up and went to the Mexican restaurant nearby. I can only state DISCRIMINATION as the reason for how my family was treated that afternoon. I can't think of any other reason why we were not seated within 5 minutes. Customer service is non existent at this place and my family will never...
Read moreMy son had been wanting to try Thai food and I hadn't had any for a very long time so we gave this place a try today 6/3. He likes spicy I am more on the mild side but we both thought the food "Excellent" They have a lunch special per the sign on the door but only Mon - Fri. That said for the appetizer we had the Siam Bistro Beef ($8.50) that was superb. We loved the dipping sauce and it was enough strips of very tender beef for both of us, My son also ordered the Tom Kha Chicken (Thai hot) soup ($6.50) that had a very good flavor and was very creamy, I ordered the CHicken Rama ($16) that came in a very good broth and with broccoli and a bowl of rice.
The chicken was more then enough to share with my son and the broth we stirred the rice in with it. While waiting for the food we saw a sign "New" Crispy Chicken Wings ($8.00) and had that added to the order. The chicken came out piping hot and the dipping sauce was very good Again more than enough for two adults. Total bill was $39 + 4.20 tax for $43.20 added to that a $10 tip. In summary, excellent food great prices and a good amount of food for the two of us. We will definitely return and try...
Read morePlease save your money because the food is absolutely awful!!! I just finished eating some of their fried rice and I was so disappointed I wanted to write a review ASAP. And I NEVER write reviews on ANYTHING! The food was so bland, I literally had to take out my frying pan, pour the fried rice into the pan and use my own seasons and spices to make it taste ok. The calamari was so bland and disgusting, the rice was oily and had absolutely no taste to it. I could've been eating tofu for all I knew. The minimum for delivery is 20.00 which is 10.00 more than other restaurants. The portions are smaller compared to other restaurants but for some reason cost way more. I gave the decor a 2 for the pictures I saw online and service was a 1 because delivery took almost an hour. This experience made me lose all hope for Thai restaurants in the Woodbridge area. Please do not eat there. Save your money. Please! On the plus side, their shrimp blankets are surprisingly really good so if you ever go there, just get the...
