Luke (tall, young male running drive thru) and Faith (manager) were both extremely RUDE.
Used to come here on a WEEKLY basis (kids have sports nearby). It was my crazy nights' quick dinner fix for my family of 6. I have always been impressed at how "trained" they have the kids working in cordiality and overall manners, but my last experience here was enough to put an extremely sour taste in my mouth.
I went through the drive through and ordered food for my family - along with 3 large lemonades with no ice. I asked for the ice to be separate as I was bringing dinner home. First young lady who took my order (friendly and noted my ice cups as part of my order), 2nd young lady who took my payment (also friendly), 3rd young lady (brought my order and seemed mortified to tell me she wasn't "allowed" to bring me ice). I asked why not, she quietly replied "I'm not sure, you'll have to ask the person at the window" - person being Luke. She then went over to tell him I was asking for a reason, so I kindly waved as it seems like he was frustrated with her... I got his attention and stated I come here almost every week and always make the exact same request for the ice to be separate. He stated policy didn't allow him to give me "free" ice cups in a very rude and condescending way. I said, well it's not free - i've got $60+ of food in these bags and would just like the ice separate so my drinks don't arrive watered down. He again rudely stated that regardless, he wasn't going to give it to me. So I said, "ok, could I have your name?" and he very flippantly said, "I'm not giving you that either!". So I got out of my car, and went up to the window and noticed his name tag as LUKE - then said "hey Luke, I want to speak to your manager". To which he replied, "she's in the office if you want to talk to her". I told him my 4 kids were in my car and I need her to come out - he ignored me so another young employee asked if I needed help and I requested a manager again to which this pleasant young man replied, "I can go get her for you". I then went back to my car and got the food out and put it on the window for Luke to take back and told him that I didn't want it anymore - he continued to ignore me and starting speaking through his peers (all of whom seemed scared and in disbelief of the interaction - they were helpful and polite). Faith comes to the window and I explained what was going on and she basically told me that the 4 small cups of ice I was requesting were equivalent to giving away a bag of ice! I repeated this as I couldn't understand her logic. She reiterated that they are equivalent - I told her Luke's attitude was uncalled for and his refusal to give me his name was unacceptable. She said, "I'll talk to him, but other than that there's nothing I can do for you." then proceeded to say, "you got your refund, is there anything else??". I honestly left in utter shock that all of this had taken place at the very same CFA that we've grown accustomed to and attended so many family events at. After everything, I hesitantly drove my kids to McDonalds where I received 5 star service and saved $10. I didn't have an appetite after everything, so during dinner I called CFA and the rep was also in disbelief in regards to everything that had occurred - he said he was sorry, but each location is independently owned and he would forward the complaint and someone should be reach out to rectify (it's been 5 days and I've heard nothing). I don't usually write reviews, but something needs to be done about this. This all happened with my kids in the...
Read moreThe “Take Out” Service at the Chick Fil A on Old Bridge Rd, Woodbridge, VA, in front of the Tribune Facility, was horrible on 02/22/24, at approximately 2:30pm. I made my order, stepped aside, as the customary and proper thing to do, my Order was prepared and the Cashier, had her hands on It, as I thought she was going to give It to me, but, she didn’t, as she noticed 2 ladies were standing behind me w/ their empty cups of beverages waiting to ask for a refill to go… and I noticed them too, the CASHIER Walked over and asked could she help them and they made their request known. The CASHIER Accommodated them and then stepped back to the Bag she had touched the first time and gave IT to me… I complained about how she handled the situation and I was NOT PLEASED W/ her Service. I was in a little bit of a rush because my husband was waiting for me to take the food to a Friend at the Tribune (Rehab) Facility.
This CASHIER had no respect, made no apology, and if a Customer is watching you, sees everything you do, and TELLS you their disappointment …. You as an Employee in my opinion, should try to make amends by apologizing, by giving a simple “I’m sorry”, would have been ok, would you like a reorder, etc.
Had I had the time… I would have seen the Manager and gotten this Young disrespectful Lady, who appeared to been at least a HS Graduate’s Name. At that hour of the day, and looking at your employees I’m sure the Manager will have NO Problem identifying the Employee on the Cash Register. In my opinion, people (an Employee) who’s rude, disrespectful, has no concern for serving customers in decency and order, should be reprimanded, at least. Every Customer, deserves and should be treated with equal respect, Not one over another should be treated or recognized, because, the Employee feels she or he should be… IF your employee feels and ACTS like that, they should not WORK at CHICK FIL A. Employees that display such behavior, should be reprimanded if Something like that happens, and, their Behavior should duly be noted. This young lady was...
Read more6/30/25- I truly dislike going this location. They barely want to give you your receipt when you request it they once argued with me about my receipt and said they ran out of receipt paper….but this evening it was given but the employee that had to print it looked very irritated and rolled her eyes after the runner told her I needed my receipt….it shouldn’t be a problem asking for a receipt after spending about $50 there, they also don’t ask if you’ll like to use or scan your app. They forgot place items in the bag which is even more of a reason why I’d like to receive my receipt. I’m always generous and respectful when I go there because I know how it is because I’ve worked at fast food before but sometimes when I go here it seems like I’m dealing with employees that work at McDonald’s!
Also I am unable to order the Cobb salad (which is one of my favorite menu options) at this location because am not able to adjust or take off anything off of the salad ie tomatoes due to dietary restrictions and am not able to get the warm grilled filet on the salad either so I settle for a kale salad! The kale salad is usually dry and tasteless at this location as they do not put enough of the Apple cider and Dijon mustard vinaigrette on it and when ask if I can have extra (which I am willing to pay) or put on the side they say they can't… one of the employees even said it doesn't come with anything/dressing on it smh. This location and the other location on pw parkway I assume have the same owner because I can't change anything on the salad there either. Also to add they told another customer that they had to now charge for a cup of ice seriously since when does chick-fil-a charge for a cup of ice. My family and l love chick-fil-a and eat it at least twice a week but most times I find myself just wanting to just drive to the one in manassas so that I am able to get what I want the way...
