I'm sorry to say but I have given this place at least 10 years as a customer plus which I don't think they still own was the other restaurant Sam pan they used to be the best Chinese place carryout to go to both of them Sam pan I guess lost their cook or just decided to change flavors or they no longer own it I don't know empire for the last 16 to 18 months has gone downhill on their service the quality of the food you order from them they continue the raise their prices you can't get customer service they're always forgetting your food you asked for something extra they eat over put it in they've changed size and containers get lesser food charge you more I think today is the day I'm no longer using this and I'm letting everyone know how the service is going downhill and the quality of food has to I even asked for a receipt today and the girl at the front she didn't know how to get a receipt cuz she walked in the back since a young gentleman out he looks at me like what can I help you with I explained to him I need a receipt showing I paid for the food I do run a business I need it for tax write-offs and he said he don't know how to reprint a receipt unfortunately I told him I've been coming to them for years he remembers me and I said I think it's going to be the last time I'm coming in more because of her I tried to call back to more orders to our list within 30 seconds of placing she kept putting me on hold then she didn't know who my order was as a restaurant a local business that I support I'm no longer supporting this place and I think you all should look at it and consider the same take your chances but I would...

I wanted to Love this place and make it my go to when I went to visit my family in that area. The first time I went which was a couple of weeks ago everything was fine. I order shrimp fried rice and wontons (they came filled with cream cheese). I got exactly what I asked for and the food was good.

Last night I went in and ordered shrimp tempura, wontons, and french fries. Took my order to the car to check and the fries were missing. I went back in and was told that I didn't ever order fries which I did. I told him not to worry about it and left since the rest of my order SEEMED to be right.

I got to my sisters house the shrimp tempura were ok but the wontons were hard and filled with little tiny bacon bits. I usually opt for Chinese if I ever eat out because I am pescatarian and don't eat any other meat besides seafood.

I called and the person seemed as if they wanted to say there wasn't much they could do until I told him I don't eat pork he says to bring the food back and they will swap it out. So I drove back over there and got the wontons I wanted and was told next time I need to be more clear about what I want which irritated me because I ordered my wontons no differently than I did the previous visit. The food is decent enough, no complaints there. The problem is with their communication. It's expected that a Chinese restaurant will have an Asian employee answering the phones, but Empire seems to always have the employee answering phones that speaks the worst English. I've ordered from this restaurant multiple times and each time it's a chore to even communicate my house number to the employee on the phone, no matter how slowly and clearly I speak. Then once they finally have my correct house number, it usually takes another 30-45 seconds of repeating my street name over and over until they get it correct. Tonight I finally had enough and hung up after the employee interrupted me for the fourth time to ask how to spell the street name again. After I hung up and began searching for a different nearby Chinese restaurant, Empire attempted to call my phone, which I ignored while dialing the number of another restaurant. Empire restaurant then continued to call my personal phone number exactly 10 times over the span of 15 minutes from the restaurant's 3 different phone numbers. The food is good quality, but I won't be wasting my time trying to order from here for delivery anymore. It's not worth my time or energy, and I don't like their customer service and...
