I just left the store after waiting over half an hour WITHOUT my food. Placed an order using the app for pickup ASAP. I enter the store to see a line of people....waiting for app/online orders. The regular order line has a handful of people but moves along customer after customer. The manager thinks its appropriate to have only one employee handle app orders even after seeing the massive line grow and complain. There seems to be no process as they prioritize the regular walk in line. I ask if I can take my receipt that's sitting on the counter through the line like a regular walk in customer. Nope, the employees defer to the manager. The manager has no clue and looks at my name but does nothing. You could have more employees working the app orders, you could find out who's actually waiting in the store and focus on those orders, but no they rather keep one employee working app orders. I even saw the walk in line empty at one point and the employees just waited until new walk in customers came in rather than help fulfill existing orders....The worst experience I've had at any restaurant.    Read moreOrdered our first meal from Mezeh as a pickup order on a Friday night. The mobile ordering went pretty smoothly and we were excited to try a new spot. The idea of creating a bowl was appealing and the options were plentiful. Plus, the pricing of the kids bowl was just $5.
Unfortunately, the pickup process was a bit of a disaster. We arrived at the time we indicated and ended up waiting almost 30 minutes past that point for our food. They were not busy with dine-in/walk-in patrons and seemed to be struggling with getting the large number of pick up orders ready to go. Watching the employees fluster around the kitchen area, bumping into each other, leaving pick up bags out of reach behind the counter instead of on the shelves meant for such orders, was frustrating to say the least.

I had 3 bowls that I was requesting different topping for. All along she kept throwing the food into the bowl and I was ignoring it until she started rolling her eyes. I stopped to ask her if everything is alright. She kept ignoring me so I asked if someone else can help me? She went to get her manger and the manger didnât wanted to hear anything kept saying I will give you free food!
