=8-29-25= Was greeted by a WAWA employee when I walked in. Was able to order food and a smoothie. Was disappointed that WAWA no longer had the pina colada smoothie on the menu. Brought it to the attention of a WAWA employee and they were surprised too that it wasn't on the menu. I had to choose another type of smoothie disappointedly. Also played the lottery while waiting on my order.
=old post= Cashier ASHLY was VERY RUDE by not responding to my genuine Hello. I walked up to the counter to cash in my VA lottery scratch ticket and she didn't even greet me. So I initiated the hello and she didn't respond. So I said again "hello, how are you today?", and she reluctantly said hello. I am a frequent customer and that's uncalled for! Read moreCigarette smokers crowd the only entrance to Wawa 5/2/22 9:48 am. I hate being forced to walk through a cloud of secondhand cigarette smoke to gain entrance to a building. A panhandler was crouched only 3 feet away from the main entrance smoking also. There was no way to avoid the panhandler. He held his hand out but said nothing verbally. I had to pass close enough to him with my child that he could have reached out and grabbed us.
I asked "Colleen" at the cashier station if cigarette smokers were allowed to smoke so close to the entrance. I told her I thought there was a Virginia law that required smokers to be at least 20 feet from an entrance. Colleen claimed she "didn't know the statutes". Colleen radioed to "Carlos" and he asked the panhandler not to smoke near the entrance but the guy didn't leave.

Read moreEvery time I order something, whether a drink or food, there is a major problem with it, eg last time I ordered a sandwich, the lady showing someone how to make it had the spiral cord of her headset just laying right in the sandwich and when I let her know, she looked at me like I was the worst person on earth for saying that to her. Then she gave me the same cord-sandwich. Today when I ordered a cappuccino, it was half full, with mostly foam, and even the foam was 3 inches from the top. When I asked for more coffee, he didn’t even fill it up to near the top.
I also think it’s horrible that they don’t have a phone number lookup function for rewards and that they don’t remind people about it before charging.
