Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Visalia

UPDATE: Both the location specific and corporate level guest relations reached out to us about our visit getting additional information to resolve this. They already spoke to the restaurant manager and are going to work on training to ensure this is handled better in the future. We were assured again it was not a bite but they agreed they failed in presenting food that was not to their quality standards. Other than the issues with the services and what looked like a bite, the rest of the food was good, changing rating fro 1 star to 3 stars for the rest of the food being good and the issues.

ORIGINAL: We went to this Chili’s with a big group for a birthday. We ordered a triple dipper with other items to share, one of the items on the triple dipper was the big mouth bites as you can see in the photo one of them was served to us with a bite, ALREADY taken out of it. When this was brought to the attention of the server, she was apologetic. The manager came over and said that it was not a bite, but that’s how they serve them because they tear them. I can tell you 100% that it does not look like a tear, that looks like a nice bite. The manager got us new ones and removed the triple dipper.

After all of this we got our check and I see we were charged for chips and salsa that were not ours. After almost 10 minutes of the server not coming out she finally came and this was brought to the attention of the server, she did not care. She said she could add it to the check of someone else in the group but they had already paid. When we said this she walked away. This is the most ridiculous service I have ever had and the fact that food was served with a bite taken out will be resulting in a complaint to the corporate office AND to the health department. Chili’s Grill & Bar in Visalia the BEST service by our server Jose. Restaurant very clean, as we sat down Jose attended to us right away. We wanted to try their 3 for $10.99, Jose had a great attitude and was very patient. We ordered their mango and blackberry teas and they were delicious. For appetizers we ordered the potato soup and house salad, both were perfect, for our main dish we ordered the secret sauce burger (I discovered the secret) 🤗 but it was delicious. I normally do not like to order burgers from restaurants but I wanted to try it and I have to say I was NOT disappointed! Another Sever brought out more sauce for us and he was very friendly as well. Jose went beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed, at all time he had a smile, polite and respectful. I was very satisfied with the service, the food, cleanest of the restaurant and we didn’t had to wait to be seated (we went at 6pm). It's now 2:26 pm . I've been here for over an hour, sitting here waiting to see how long it's going to take for ANY 1 OF the 3 employees who brought outside 9 orders to return outside to clean up, or AT LEAST WIPE DOWN THE TABLES ? REALLY ? , 2 MINUTES AGO a chubby female employee walked out the doors, LOOKED OVER AT ALL MESSES and ran quickly to her big white truck so she can leave this place behind her! LOL ! Wow it's 2:34 now and I wanna take 1 last photo of this place before I leave . for public health reasons this has to be so unacceptable ! OMG! 4 more employee's are leaving work now, looks at the mess and continue to keep walking away to their vehicles. If nobody cares enough to clean up the FRONT DOOR TO THIS PLACE , WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WHERE OUR FOOD IS BEING PREPARED AT?
