Davorn's Place — Restaurant in Visalia

Food is always great! But service is horrible! If seated first and another group gets seated after, they get drinks and gets to order first. I’ve noticed that a few times whenever we go. The other day I placed an order for pick up. My call in order was at 4:41. I get there about 35 minutes after the call, paid and was told my food was being packed. I said okay. Stood there and waited. 10 minutes later a girl notice I was standing there and she said she’d checked my food. She went to the back and never came back. Waited a bit more and I had to stop another girl and ask her to check on my food to see what’s going on because my one year old and his dad was waiting in the car. She never came back too. I see a different girl come out with some food that was bagged and had no idea who it was for. She put it down on the counter and went through receipts and still couldn’t figure out who it was for. She asked another waitress and she said she didn’t know too and left. The lady that brought out the food opened the bag and saw my name on it. Handed to me, no apology, or “Thank you! Have a nice day”. By the time I got my food, it was a litttle after a hour from when I called in to make the order! They weren’t even busy during that time. Very disappointed. They need to work on their customer service. My baby was crying when I got back to the car. We’ll see about returning. Not anytime...

I WILL PUT 0 STARTS but it doesn’t have the option, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!The owner o the main waitress is very disrespectful, we went in a big group they had us waiting for our food for about 2 hours, I’m not kidding!, after they brought us the food we were eating for about 30 mins or 40 the most when the owner or the main waitress went there and in front of people ask us to leave because she was going to start cleaning, there were not many people on the restaurant , we notice she had a lot of empty tables but she just told us to leave because she wanted to clean the table, I guess every time we go there she is not having a good day because she is always rude. Prices are supper higher that other good places, I guess she has this attitude because we keep going there even though she doesn’t have manners, well we go there because here in Visalia there is no other pleases with this type of food. Well this time our group got very disappointment with they way she treat us, and they take tip automatically too bad they don’t deserve it. Our group said they are not coming back but i want to share this just Incase you want to go eat here make sure you ate good at home because they won’t serve your food till after 2 hours so ridiculous!!!!...

I'm reaching out to you all with a heavy heart as my Girlfriend unfortunately misplaced her wallet at this local restaurant, Davorn's Place here in Visalia. It's a black leather wallet containing some essential cards & a sentimental bracelet that holds immense value to her. If anyone has come across it, I want to assure you that there are no questions asked. You can keep the money inside, no problem at all. All we're desperately seeking is to retrieve her cards & that precious bracelet. I want to emphasize that the situation is serious; there were cameras in the rstaurant recording at the time, & we've already filed a police report with the Visalia PD. To the individual who might have found it, please understand the significance of those items to us. Your honesty in returning them would mean everything. You can simply drop it off at the restaurant, & we'll be eternally grateful. Thank you for your attention, Visalia!
