Me-n-Ed's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Visalia

The food was good but the service was wack as hell. I'm not from the Central Valley and when I tried Me-n-Ed's for the first time it was really good! And I was excited to try it again.

This is for the night staff on March 21st on a Friday. My boyfriend placed an online pickup for 2 large pizzas and 1 order of the cinnamon treats. It said it would take about 20-25 minutes. We walked in and it was 6 or 7 people on the floor. The restaurant wasn't too busy just a few tables eating. We were barely greeted and the staff seemed too nonchalant and distracted. I don't mind staff that has a fun workplace but if it affects work efficiency that crosses the line. As someone who has worked in a restaurant I expect better. Once we reached the counter expecting the order was ready. The girl with long black hair and eyelashes that were too heavy for her face got our two pizzas. But my boyfriend said we also had the cinnamon treats. She just seemed out of it walking around and chatting/flirting with the other coworkers it was just hard to look at lol as she tried to look for the last food item. Then she went to a manager I think. At this point I knew the staff forgot to make them. She offered to put our two pizzas back on the warmer for us to sit and wait. I shook my head at her. With 6-7 people on the floor I think it's embarrassing that they took an extra 15-20 minutes out of the customers time. It wasn't until this blonde girl at the front noticed we were sitting there for awhile and asked if we've been helped. Then we got the last food item. But then they forgot to take out our 2 pizzas. The girl with the black hair knew she initially messed up our experience. She held no initiative on making sure our order was complete and my boyfriend and I caught her in the back "prepping food" trying to avoid us. We laughed on our way back to our car. I didn't bring up the men on staff cause I already expected less from all of them from the sight of them talking loudly and laughing. The lack of communication on the floor/kitchen is embarrassing and exhausting. Get it together. Maybe it's best to not schedule these people...

Celebrated Father’s Day and I personally asked the front counter cutting pizza for table toppings, MATHEW/MATT the rude worker told me “one moment.” and then ignored after he boxed the pizza he was cutting, and he responded “there all taken up you can use the packets!”I said “thanks.” A different family kind worker after I waited where the packets for a second told me “ let me look around for a moment I’ll find one” the rude MATHEW/MATT comes over and confirms while the other workers are looking that there are only “5 crushed red pepper shakers and 5 Parmesan!” Meanwhile I’m just looking for cool calm and peaceful things being a CUSTOMER with my whole family but while we are eating with out pizzas here comes MATHEW/MATT he is asking for plates and my FATHER try’s to make a dad joke saying when MATHEW/MATT asked “if you’re not using any pizza plates I need them!😤” then my DAD says “ that will be $10” MATHEW/MATT Responds with an attitude “ OR YOU CAN NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!😡” MATHEW/MATT NOT ONLY ANGERED BUT US SILENT AND UNCOMFORTABLE ,ALSO DISAPPOINTED the 10 people sitting at a party table for my DAD to celebrate FATHERS DAY I hope action is taken with management and so agree 10 other people leaving this formal COMPLIANT about MATHEW/MATT his actions should have a REACTION PLEASE WRITE HIM UP AT LEAST signed - “❌⁉️Anonymous⁉️❌”...

The worst food in Visalia, I wouldn't even recommend it to my enemy. The person who served me was rude, impolite and unprofessional. I bought some pizzas for my family, they overcharged me, I complained, they had to call the manager who insisted on not refunding the money without any logical justification. When I said I wanted to cancel the order, she decided to refund the money she had overcharged. The employees were in agreement to charge more than $6 extra from each customer, this deserves a complaint. The kitchen staff does not appear to work with proper hygiene, some do not wear gloves or hair protectors. The person who collects the trash and cleans the floor goes into the kitchen all the time and helps the cooks and also serves pizza... hygiene is not respected. When it was time to serve the table, the employee was rude. There is no one to greet customers who come in or leave... everything, absolutely everything in this pizzeria is reprehensible! I would like to give it ZERO stars, but Google requires at least 1. I will never return here with my family. If you are smart, look for another place so you don't waste time and money on bad food and...
