When entering the store there was a off putting smell in have been here a couple times and the smell is always there. We waited 5 minutes to place my order when there was no one in line. The workers just stared at us waiting. i got a dozen mochi donuts which i belive costs $36 thought it was a bit high for donuts but it was for a special occasion. We got strawberry, Ube, mango, pandon, and biscoff. None of them had the taste worth the price in my opinion. The mango did not taste like mango at all neither did the biscoff. All lacked flavor but all were presented nicely. Honestly i dont think I would buy them again.
This is to respond to owners comment: I do not leave all 1 star reviews my reviews are honest and you should correct your store instead of pushing back on honest feedback. I did wait 5 minuets and it is reasonable if there was a line of people. There was no one in line. Your pricing is not lower then the market iv bought them from other places like i stated in my comment above. Yes your donuts did have a whole biscoff i guess that how you justify the flavor. You would think the frosting on the top would also have the flavoring since they do sell biscoff butter that you could have used in the frosting to add more biscoff flavor. But I do think lying about my reviews is a horrible thing to do to try and justify why you have 1 to 2 star ratings. Any one can see my reviews and no that i dont just post 1 star reviews i post honestly and fairly and dont do it maliciously. Good luck
57 out of 107 1 to 2 star reviews means I post about my experiences fairly. I understand fully how expensive it is to open a resurant your assumption on my lack of knowledge of the industry is not correct. The costs that you incurred by opening a resturant is irrelevant as every resurant has the same expenses it is the risk you have to take. I do not intend to hurt business but to let them know how thier staffs customer service is and the quality of thier service or food is. Now with that being said there are my times where I revist a place that I left a low rating on to see if the experice is better and I re...
Read moreI have been once for a donut and the parking lot is small and cramped. The lines can be long because visalia doesn't have alot of or any other comparative places that similar food and drinks. The modern vibes of this place is fine but nothing exciting. The donuts are good of course, donuts are good in general I think 😂. The thing I wanted to talk about was their Korean corndogs. No where esle in visalia can you find a Korean corndog and they are so good. I had them back at this great place in LA, so I was excited to see them offer them. We got two and they were $10-$11 dollars EACH. 10 dollars for a deep fried hotdog with cheese. Not cheap compared to the other places I have tried out side of the valley. I bought them anyway because I wanted to try it once. We bought two, one with cheese and a hot dog, one with out cheese, both with spicy mayo on top. So these are Definitely not worth the price if you don't pay extra for the cheese, in my opinion the cheese is what makes the Korean corn dog. I would like to note that these were slightly disappointing not only in price but also with the cheese quality. Other k.c's I have had the cheese is melty in the inside and pulls apart like when you pull apart a slice of cheese pizza, but with these the batter was still hot so it wasn't a temperature issue, the cheese wasn't melty and was kinda hard and stiff like they left in the freezer to long. Over all I'm not super impressed with this place, the prices, or the quality. I wish we had more places like this in the valley so there was some competition. Also its worth it to note the spicy mayo gave my skin an allergic reaction and I had small burns around my mouth, I have never had that happen before with any spicy mayo so thought I would...
Read moreToday was my first time trying this place out in Bakersfield. I ordered 3 drinks plus 2 Korean dogs. The wait for the drinks was the normal waiting time for a drink but I waited for the Korean dogs for almost 20 minutes. During the time I waited, a smoothie that was to go (for someone else) watered down. I am not the type to complain because I’ve worked food service so I understand how busy it can get but I asked one of the employees if I could get it remade because of it watering down during the time I was waiting. I let her know I was given the drinks a long time before the food and I had been waiting long for the food. She was hesitant about remaking the drink and just proceeded to cut the top of drink with scissors and throws the smoothie with the boba inside the blender. I don’t understand why that’s even ok. How do I know the scissors didn’t touch the “smoothie” that she would give me back? I asked her if she just threw it in there with the boba to which she said yes she was just going to add more ice. I asked if it could be remade all over again. Apparently it was too much of me to ask for, for the time I waited because she seemed to be bothered to have to remake it. I’ve worked in a tea shop making the same drinks and I know adding more ice just takes the flavor away and no one wants that. Just to make things worse, I ended up walking out of there with a “smoothie” that was even more watered down than the one she took from me and even some ice that wasn’t fully blended.I waited too long and just wanted to get out of there so I didn’t even bother to ask her for a refund or for an ACTUAL smoothie. Terrible experience, waste of...
