The burrito is delicious and filling and the street style tacos are alright. They are a little more than the usual taco truck taco but the same size and filling. The meat in the taco, I got asad, was a little bit to fatty for me. I was getting some rough or chewy bits in-between bites. There breakfast chorizo burritos are really tasty though! I would definitely recommend. There are a lot of Mexican places in visalia, and this one doesn't have a stand out factor compared to the others. It is just good food, and filling. The line cook and cashier don't speak great English, (im not judging on that), just sometimes its a little hard to understand when your ordering or asking a specific food question but over all you can get though with some simple yes or no's. The parking is definitely weird though, you have to go around the back behind the shop in order to follow the curved curb, and then here is a few spaces in front of the shop. Other wise you would park where the main parking lot is behind the shop and talk around. Overall it's fine food, nothing crazy but I haven't had everything on the menu so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly I was very disappointed in the flavor of the food and how outrageously over priced they are. At first I thought it was nice to see food cooked and fried fresh to order, but was tasteless and needed salt and no flavor what so ever. The the taquitos (flautas) were so bland, and I could not belive 30$ for 4 fish tacos no where in hell or a restaurant have we been were plain fish tacos with cabbage and mayo sauce to be over 7$ per taco with no sides I didn't notice how much I paid for the tacos until I looked over the receipt thats a ridiculous amount, Our bill was much more than that (85$) but that really came as a shocker for 4 tacos smh. One small slice of flan $7 I mean not even a bakery does that and it was not thoroughly cooked so gross. First and last time we will eat at this place, the kids and my husband also have complaints of their tacos and burrito very bland and tasteless. I think we would have been better off at a taco truck or even taco...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really wouldn't recommend this place.
I had the chile verde burrito and I also got tocos for my kids with a side of Spanish rice.
The burrito was a decent size but the flavor was very very plain. There was no significant taste of green chile....the pork was very dry and had no flavor whatsoever, the beans were whole and didn't have any flavor either. The Spanish rice that I got for my kids seemed like it didn't have not even a grain of salt. It was almost like eating white rice with added tomato paste just for the color.
The asada on the tacos had decent flavor.
I'm not going to completely knock this place because I can only judge based on what I ate. And based on the items I ate I can say there was no authenticity.
Thanks...
