We used to go to this B&R when we lived in Vista and the owner was always nice, appreciative for our business and seemed very involved. When we moved, I needed an ice cream cake for my sonās birthday. I was going to use the B&R near our new house, but noticed it had bad reviews about messing up cake orders. So, I decided to order from this B&R (even though it was now much further away from us) because I knew I could trust them to get it right. And they did! The cake was ready on time, was exactly what I ordered and, the cake maker was kind enough to help me to the car with the cake (which was a life saver) because I had my wild 4 yr old son with me and the cake was very large and precarious to place in the car. Lastly, the cake actually tasted delicious. Usually store bought cakes taste gross in my opinion, but not this one. Everyone at the party loved it and I even had several adults come back for seconds which says a lot. I am so glad I decided to come back to this location! Iām a doordash driver, I came in to pick up and order, employee was by himself and busy so understandably, I waited a bit. I got another order, went to pick it up real quick while I have the employee some time to get the order done. I came back, the order is still not done, the employee looks me square in the eye and then walks away to the back of the building, comes back and continues to ignore me. Absolutely ridiculous. Buddy needs to go work somewhere else if he canāt handle it.
Edit: I came into this store again. Different employee, bad same equally horrible attitudeā¦. The tone of voice, the rolling her eyes, throwing the order onto the counter⦠what is wrong with your employees? If they donāt want to work, they should quit or be fired. You have these people working with children?? Thatās just embarassing. These employees need help...

I have had many very disturbing and uncomfortable experiences with him at this location. Andrew gets visibly angry when customers come into the store, almost as if he doesn't want to do his job. I asked him if they had any more of a certain flavor of ice cream that looked empty, and he's response was an angry look and said, " I ALREADY TOLD YOU THERE'S NO MORE!" With an angry look on his face, he stared me down. I informed Andrew that I was never told that before. And he just keeps staring aggressively at me like he wants to fight me or something.
