Additionally, I want to emphasize the evidence supporting my review. As the saying goes, there are always multiple versions of every story. In this case, the pictures I have attached clearly depict the order still sitting untouched, even after a half hour had passed. It is disheartening to witness that the order was neglected, as customers were left waiting without their essential items. On the other hand, I observed the general manager, Lucas, a mere half hour later, lounging around, seemingly unconcerned about the inefficiencies and failures occurring under his leadership.
To my astonishment, it appeared as though none of the employees were capable of fulfilling Lucas's responsibilities. One employee even conveyed an inability to lift anything over 5 pounds, or at least that was the impression given. Yet, it is perplexing that while some restrictive physical limitations are imposed on employees, customers are expected to handle and move strenuous 80-pound bags of pet food just to access their intended items - items that were supposed to be prepped and ready for quick and efficient pickup.
This stark contrast between the expectations placed on customers and the lack of accountability shown by the employees, particularly the general manager, only reinforces the deeply rooted failures in the management and organization of Petco on West Vista. It is an unacceptable workplace culture that disregards customers, places unfair burdens on them, and exhibits a disconcerting lack of professionalism and customer care.
As I conclude my review, I implore potential customers to seriously consider the numerous shortcomings and disappointments I experienced at Petco on West Vista. The evidence provided and my detailed account of the blatant disregard for orders, customer service, and overall professionalism should serve as a clear warning. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a pet shop that values its customers and upholds the principles of good...
Read moreWorst experience ever. We brought my dog in and are paying for full service. Our appointment was for 115 and they told us 2 to 3 hours. We came in after three hours and they told us they needed an hour more. She was locked in a cage, the whole time with no water no food when we brought her home she was so thirsty When we asked them why they needed more time and hadn’t gotten her done. They said that they just had other dogs and we’re really busy. They hadn’t done anything other than give her a basic bath in 3 hours!. They haven’t done the things we paid for, Deshedding (not brushed or deshedded), her nails were not trimmed or buffed which we paid extra for, no teeth brushing, no ear cleaning, and her legs weren’t even washed. They didn’t do the paw ointment. When we ask them why? And if they it takes normally 4 hours to wash a medium size dog with short hair, the children in the back started laughing at us. So we told them we would like to take her home now. And pay for the services they had done. She proceeded to give me an invoice for full services, though she had only performed maybe 1/9 of the full services that we purchased. I told her that I saw them laughing at us and she said they didn’t. I told her I was recording because I was scared after our interaction she was going to go and be mean and hurt my dog while bringing her back out to me and she said we weren’t allowed to record it. I said they were no signs and she said she could print out the policies for me. I had already stopped recording. I was only concerned about my animal because she seemed so mean. This was the worst experience ever. I’ve taken my dogs many times to groomers and it’s been one to two hours. Today She came home traumatized, starving and thirsty. It was so sad. It’s like they...
Read moreMy dog has visited many times for simple grooming(nails and paw trimming), never had any issues until today. Firstly, my dog DID NOT bark, growl, bite, show teeth or show any signs of aggression. The only thing he did was move around a bit which is normal for such a young dog. The groomers working with my 7 month old dog insisted that he did not need his nails trimmed, made a comment about him being “too strong and stressed” to handle. Mind you, there were multiple dogs barking and crying in cages… an environment like that would make almost any dog stressed out. Anyhow, my issue is that the groomers were incapable of handling a 7 month old pup for a very simple task. Is it not a groomers job to be able to calm and control a dog while in their care? Also, I’m sure a groomer needs to be capable of handling all size dogs so the size and strength of a dog shouldn’t matter if they were capable of doing their job correctly. I have never experienced such lazy and useless groomers out of the 9 years I have owned dogs. Based off of the barking and crying dogs in cages, I should have known they were terrible with handling dogs. I made this appointment a week in advance, left work early all for nothing because they were unable to calm my dog(who was only stressed due to the multiple barking/crying dogs in cages) I do NOT recommend this place! Complete waste of time and extremely...
