READ THE NEWEST REVIEWS. I WILL NEVER COME BACK. The other reviews are from family members. LIEZZZ. I was totally bamboozled coming here. I wasn't that hungry so I ordered from their website online a side of oxtails for $7.50 (and steamed cabbage). The girl at the front told me that I had selected the wrong option and that I ordered from the additional section so it'd be $7.00 more. It was my first (and last) time eating here. The first time I visited there was nobody at the front register and the guy there didn't even say hello or anything so after about 10 minutes of standing and waiting I left.
This time, I'm told I under paid, so I wind up paying $14.50 for 4 oxtails that were primarily FAT AND NO MEAT. That's almost $4.00 for one piece of oxtail. FOUR DOLLARSZZZZ AN OXTAIL?! I didn't want that much food but DANG there was barely any food. I was scrapping the bits of the sauce hoping that some pieces of meat may have fell in there and there wasn't anything.
Not to mention while I waited, I went to the bathroom area and there were flies galore! Now I know the islanders have lived a different lifestyle but we are not on the islands here baby. GET THE FLIES. I didn't even use it after that. Thankfully the food was covered and premade [side eye] so it wasn't a crazy wait for a tiny stamp of food.
I learned my lesson that day though... Cause you won't see me even drive in that area let alone come back and eat. $20 for 4 oxtails where 75% of it is fat??? Yall are going down south with gasoline drawers on lol.
I put the before picture (thinking I was going to write a good review - ha!), then the after picture with the fat and a separate picture showing what the fat looks like with brown sauce on it versus the meat. Plus THE RECEIPTS showing the $7.00 UPCHARGE. Again, I ordered from...
Read moreI sat in for an early dinner date today and I loved everything about this place! I read through the reviews before arriving and they still didn’t prepare me for my experience. The customer service and the food was a 10/10!! The minute I walked it smelled so good I was ready to do the happy food dance before eating lol! My date arrived before I did and the owner came out to greet me even though he’d already ordered for me. She was very welcoming and all smiles. She even took a picture for us ☺️. The young lady taking orders was sweet and patient with everyone. I had curry chicken, rice & beans, plantains and baked macaroni & cheese. The chicken was flavorful and not too spicy, the rice was moist and far from bland. The baked macaroni was seasoned, creamy and cheesy but not soupy. I got a carrot cake to go, which I haven’t tasted yet but I just know it’ll be good lol. My leftovers were gone immediately but I’ll make sure to add a picture next time lol. Not only will I be back, I will be a regular!! Please keep up the great work and amazing hospitality!!

Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Ziggels Cuisine, a Jamaican restaurant that truly knows how to tantalize the taste buds. I opted for the classic choice - the Jerk Chicken with Plantain and Rice and Beans, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary journey.
The star of the show was undeniably the Jerk Chicken. It was perfectly seasoned, with a tantalizing blend of spices that created a mouthwatering fusion of flavors. The smokiness from the jerk seasoning and the tenderness of the chicken made each bite a pure joy. The heat was just right, providing a subtle kick without overpowering the dish.
Ziggels Cuisine is a hidden gem for those craving authentic Jamaican flavors. The Jerk Chicken with Plantain and Rice and Beans was an absolute delight, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu. If you're looking for a taste of the Caribbean in the heart of Voorhees, Ziggels Cuisine is a must-visit.
