Cookie Dough Bliss Union Hall — Restaurant in Waco

I ordered 4 pints of edible cookie dough for shipping from Texas to Oklahoma on a Tuesday in mid June. The order was packaged and ready to go that day! I received it the following Monday… All of the cookie doughs were hot and the oils had separated. So, per the instructions, I had to mix it up and refrigerate it before I could try it. Okay - no problem! I ordered Cookies & Cream, Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter, and Macadamia Nut. Unfortunately, the Oreos in Cookies & Cream had all crumbled and melted in the shipping and re-mixing process, so I can’t tell what it was supposed to taste like but it does not taste like cookies & cream at all. It barely even tastes like cookie dough. I honestly can’t even describe it but it’s not good. Birthday Cake tastes just like regular sugar cookie (to me and my family). Okay..? I like sugar cookie but I was really hoping for the birthday cake flavored dough like it says on their website. Peanut Butter tastes just like a Reese’s peanut butter cup in an edible cookie dough! It’s amazing!! And Macadamia Nut is by far my favorite!!! It’s sweet AND savory! The perfect combination for an edible cookie dough!!!! Also, I tried baking peanut butter and "birthday cake" into cookies and it didn’t work out for me. I followed the instructions and "birthday cake" was way too chewy. Peanut butter was too soft and doughy. It just fell apart lol! I might try again but for now it’s okay because I ordered them for the "raw" edible cookie dough experience! I absolutely love taking bites out of Macadamia Nut and Peanut Butter here and there whenever I have a sweet tooth!! Birthday Cake (or "sugar cookie" as we call it) and "Cookies & Cream" are sitting in my freezer right now. Not sure what I’m going to do with them. I’m sad that I ordered and payed for them but can’t even enjoy them. I took away 2 stars for the 2 cookie doughs and 1 star for the money I spent. I really do love this place and I really wanted to give them a better rating because the Macadamia Nut and the Peanut Butter cookie doughs ARE AMAZING!! But unfortunately this is my experience. I would LOVE to order from them again in the future and hopefully change my rating and review. But until then, this is just my honest review!

Edit: Macadamia Nut was the only one that had the flavor label on the container but I can tell them all apart so no biggie there! But I really wanted to clarify that their cookie dough IS amazing!! Even though the birthday cake cookie dough tastes like sugar cookie, it’s still absolutely delicious! I ordered the same exact raspberry sauce that they use and I cannot wait to try it!!! First review for dough re me ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Bake the dough.. better as a cookie vs uncooked. They were pretty good but not as good as regular cookie dough from the store or homemade. I'll go back because I have a gift card, but probably wouldn't buy it myself.

Second review for cookie dough bliss ⭐ walked in to use my gift card for dough re me. The girl working was on her cellphone standing at the back of the counter. Didn't acknowledge me until I stood looking at the menu board for a good couple of minutes. Didn't greet me, just stared at me. I told her I had a gift card from dough re me and wanted to see if I could still use it here. She didn't know. So she said she could ring something up, that's fine. I asked if anything was dairy free, she looked confused and said I don't know but everything is vegan.... I don't think she had any clue what she was talking about. I then just pick something so she can try to ring it up. Turns out the gift card does not work- what a waste! She then points at some lady working at a bench nearby and tells me that she is the previous owner of dough re me and tells me to go ask her if she transferred over all the gift card abilities to the new system... I hate that I’m doing this bc I’ve never left a negative review for anything but had the rudest customer service ever. She was very aggressive and when my sister asked a simple question abt what’s in the Irish cream she was told “I don’t know what do you think? It’s Irish Cream?” On top of that she got a basic chocolate chip cookie dough and it was very warm not cold at all and the staff punched in the price at the cashier and then turned around and walked away before my sister had even gotten to the cash register and when she said thank you the staff didn’t even look up or respond. Staff had to be at least 16 but she was acting like an 11 year old. No gloves and filled the small ($7) up half way and there was a light blonde hair in the ice cream.
