Yeah I love Jason's deli. I have been going since they opened. Their food is great and you have healthy choices. But lately alot has changed. My daughter and I both do our best to drink water water and we have cut sodas out of our diet . So when we go we like to drink the water there and we asked couple weeks ago if we could have a little bigger cup, you know because we'd like to drink a lot of water and take it with us. They have 3 sizes of cups 1 small 1 kind of medium they're both clear and there is one large which is white. And we asked did the medium cost anything for just the midsized bigger cup and the young man said no so we used those the last time . But when we went yesterday and we got our food we realized on the bag on the receipt it showed that it was $5 forthe cupsThat we were using for water. So my daughter went out and talked to the manager. the manager was a woman I've never seen before period and she said that those cups are $2.50 a piece due to the fact they have printing on them and that the white cups are like 3.50 apiece. Well nobody told us that and so we were stuck with $5 for water. And this is not the only change they have really big baked potatoes and they have all kinds of fixings and stuff in them that are really good. They used to put plenty of fixes in all the potatoes sour cream butter cheese whatever there was and it was great potato. But in the last couple of years there's barely anything in these giant baked potatoes you pay about $8 for it's it's dry and not much meat or anything in the potato. So I'd normally go up and ask for extra and when I do I get a little tiny tiny dollar of extra anything sour cream cheese rain butter whatever for $1.00 or more... I realized things have gone up and it's And it's difficult out there. But it used to be you know that you would give condiments and stuff to the customer and not charge for them so that they would come back to your store you know and eat again. And I felt like yesterday that no one really cared that we were upset about the $5 for 2 cups of water. Used to be they had really nice managers and they were friendly and they were helpful and not so worried about the bottom line as opposed to making the customer happy. Read moreMy husband and I used to be frequent curbside customers at Jason's Deli Waco on a weekly basis. The past few months the curbside and overall customer service has become downright horrible. Consistently the curbside orders come out 30 minutes ore more after the scheduled pick up time and these are advance orders so there should be no excuse. Most restaurants offer curbside service but none comes even close to the horrible service we have experienced at Jason's Deli. In regards to the horrible customer service, the manager on duty there named Brandon has no customer service skills and is extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone and in person. For example, I paid for a curbside order in advance on Jason's Deli app and my credit card was charged the total amount and I had emailed receipt to prove it. When I showed up to pick up my prepaid curbside order, Brandon insisted the total was $15 more than what I already paid for the order and refused to give me my order until I paid the difference for an error by Jason's Deli not me. I have contacted the store owner/operator on multiple occasions about repeated issues with curbside and customer service and get the same lame response every time but no improvements have been made in their horrible curbside and customer service. I hope another Jason's Deli will open in Waco just so they will have to treat customers right to keep customers coming in. Read moreI been going to Jason deli for years even used to work here from Shreveport LA to Waco Tx , Shreveport LA 4 years a Waco Tx for 2years so I know how it suppose to be an look . I’m living in waco now. Everytime I order front deck or online there always something wrong also I order the same food everytime .I get the chicken Alfredo or chicken rapini the chicken Alfredo be dry as cornbread so I have ask or pay for extra sauce sometime.Even have to ask the manager the chicken rapini sometime missing the vegetables pico as it called . Al the manger be looking at me like I don’t belong there at all but one. Mr.Alex is the only friendly person that will get my order right the 1st time with a joyful smile that make you feel wanted in the restaurant.. I’m very respectful at all time even when they get my food wrong but it been very annoying when I order the same thing all the time in my phone number is in the system so they know what I want when I come, but still get it wrong.
