This was the absolute WORST experience I have EVER had at a restaurant. When we sat down it took forever to get service to start and there was I think 2 other tables in there. Our food was the wrong flavor, and we were missing food. Not ONE time after dropping off our food did our waitress come and check on us. When we were almost done eating my kids were so thirsty that my daughter finally went and asked for refills because they were all empty. She brought them. Not one time asking āis everything okay or do you need anythingā. We were done eating and one of my girls was getting fussy while we were just waiting there for the bill so he went to the car with her. We all stood around the table waiting for the waitress to come bring the bill while she sat at a tableā¦..When she brought my bill I was shocked to see that she charged us almost $25 in gratuity. The service we got was awful. We were a family of 7 and 2 of my kids are very small and didnāt get foodā¦.I truly believe we got such awful service because she knew she was gunna charge us gratuity. I was really frustrated so I paid and then we left. Today I decided to call and speak to a manager. When I called I asked for the manager and a woman said who is this and I said a customer and she said āitās meā. #1 what? If you were a manager when I asked to speak to one why didnāt you say āIām a managerā?? Then I went over the incidents from yesterday and she had a snobby attitude and just told me thatās the gratuity policy. Not one single acknowledgment to the fact that I paid $160 for missing food, the wrong flavor and AWFUL service. We waited forever in a empty restaurant for someone to seat us.
We sat down and the menus were filthy. Covered in grease and old food. The seats were too. The table was covered in plastic so it could've been filthy underneath, we couldn't tell.
The waitress seemed to not know the menu or seem to not want to learn it and when asked about the market price of items, she was unprepared. Our order came out one by one. Some of the meals were 5-15 minutes apart. So some of our party had finished eating while others were just getting their meal. Completely unorganized and no responsibility taken. We wondered if it was a front to something else (nefarious?) vs being ab actual restaurant- that's how much they. Did. Not. Care.
The crab was over cooked, dry and really light on the weight. Some of the legs were completely empty on several of our clusters. The waitress quoted by the pound but we were served one cluster, which is very different than by the pound. Some of the clusters, I would guess were maybe 1/4 of a lb?
No soap in the women's bathroom. The crab butter was all over our hands and we had to wipe off with napkins and wash at home- gross.
The soda machine only had water and they laughed and said it hadn't worked for over a week (?!) and we paid for drinks.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate:We decided to give this place another try after our not so great experience 2 weeks before. This time was a much better experience. Service was wonderful, very attentive and friendly. We ended up ordering The Battleship this time (crab legs, class, shrimp, and crawfish), it was enough food for at least 4 people to eat, and it was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing (we got garlic parm). I highly recommend getting one of the seafood bags. After this experience we will be returning.
Original Review: (2 stars)Food was ok, service was horrible! I got the crawfish poboy, I was a little disappointed because it was not very flavorful. My husband ordered the catfish and shrimp platter, that we didn't get until about 30-40 min after I got my food because they apparently didn't make it, so he ended up taking it to go. The mistake would have been caught a lot soon had our server actually been checking on us. The wait stuff was more worried about arguing with each other, eating, and being on their phones than serving customers. We will give it another try because everyone else seemed to be getting to steam bags and were saying they were really good. Hopefully the service will be greatly improved by then.
