One Day Bar — Restaurant in Waco

Absolutely incredible experience! My girlfriend and I love us a good craft cocktail and it was such a huge relief to be able to accidentally stumble upon such a beautifully realized bar concept... in Waco no less!!

Being in Waco solely for a wedding, we were literally dreading that we'd be stuck in a craft cocktail desert and have to settle for your run of the mill, overly sweetened margs and mules. One Day was the absolute opposite! In fact, it reminded us of the absolute best bars we've been to in Chicago, New York, New Orleans, etc. Seriously... you can name any "best bar" you've ever been to and One Day keeps up easily.

From perfectly done traditional cocktails to their own adventurous concotions, One Day provides something for everyone. We had some very specific spirit requests and flavor profiles we were craving in the moment and their staff stepped up to meet our needs perfectly! My girlfriend had the Fox & Wolf and I had their witchy seasonal daiquiri as well as The Deputy. All three drinks were spectacular!

Huge shout out to the entire bar staff as well as Chris who came over and guided us through the entire menu. She also helped us discover some off the menu items that would be up our alley, too! Huge thanks for making our stay enjoyable and actually have us wanting to visit Waco again! Something I never thought...

Best place ever! I got here thinking I was under dressed, so we ordered our drinks and came outside all worried that we weren't dressed right, I was soooo wrong! I meet the owner (embarrassed that I just told him this place is to "uppity" for me) he took me in, gave me the best food and service and I'm so picky (like chicken and cheese only) Jake gave me Yaki with rice, chicken and slaw! One Day's cocktail menu is staff-sourced and stellar. The back bar is consistently full of interesting and unexpected rotating gems that anyone in the industry will appreciate, and anyone outside the industry will benefit by having access to.
