Putters: Arcade - Mini Golf - Sports Bar — Restaurant in Waco

This place is a mess. They are operating against the laws and are open even though they make majority of their money from alcohol. (States on door they are a 51% establishment). They have a sharpie written “dress code” that states no athletic wear when their business is literally called “putters” because of the Putt Putt they allow you to play along side arcade games. However, we had a group of 6 people in the previous night and 2 of the guys were wearing basketball shorts. But because the owner was all the sudden there tonight, 2 of us were not allowed in because we were wearing “athletic clothes” and told that it’s a professional dress code... in an arcade/mini golf place ? My husband was told “you can come back in your swim trunks because they are more professional than basketball shoManagement and bouncers were terribly rude and stated they were not worried about the laws or the police and that our opinions are not relevant to them. I do not recommend this place. Not because they are not following the laws but because they were so rude about people from OUT OF TOWN that didn’t bring any other clothes wanted to play putt putt in their establishment. They lost 8 peoples business not and they had not a care...

Horrible service not friendly at all. My girlfriend and I got there around 8pm and there was maybe 7 people all together there at that time and one of the bartenders saw us and started messing with the TV so we stood there for probably 15 mins waiting for him to say something to us at least or serve us. In my own opinion I think the customer is more important than messing with the TV, So we got tired of waiting and went to the other end of the bar to a female bartender,we walked up to her side of the bar she looked at us didnt say hello or even speak to us. So instead of acknowledging us and saying ill be with you in a second or something at least,she started to wash some glasses,so we waited and after about 10 mins of her washing glasses we thought finally we will get some service, she went to the people on the other side of us who walked up to the bar and waited for like 30 seconds idk if they were her friends or whatever but she clearly knew we were first and after about another 7 mins she finally took our drink order. So all in all horrible service and the bartenders...

Came to Putters in the evening and it was a very short trip.

Went to the restroom with a friend and there was an absolute mess so we went into a small stall together. On our way out, there was staff gathering to address the mess and we went back to our group just minding our own business.

Roughly 15 minutes later, a man comes up to our group asking us to leave and we were all shocked. Then he clarified that only me and my friend had to leave. When we asked why he just said, “For what happened in the bathroom”. We asked for more details, ready to explain that we had gotten to the bathroom after the incident but he would only say, “for what happened in the bathroom”. We tried explaining and saying they could check footage that the timeline wouldn’t add up for it to have been us. The man wasn’t attempting to listen, understandably probably just the messenger.

However, the entire thing was handled horribly and we just left because it wasn’t worth a longer argument to stay.
