5 stars for Friday and 0 for Saturday . Met some friends in Waco this past weekend and was told Twisted Sisters Bar was a must. We went Friday night and had a blast. We were expecting live music but they had a DJ and although he didn’t start until after 10 he played a great mix of music and had the crowd up and dancing. The staff was amazing, great energy, very friendly. We did have to wait in line a few minutes to order our drinks, but our bartender made sure we didn’t wait again. Come to find out they were short staffed only 1 bartender. The bus boy told us to come back next night (Saturday) for a live band … a couple from my group made it to see the band and said they were amazing , loud but amazing ! But when we got there maybe before midnight all the lights were on inside pretty bright, I lost a few bucks on iTunes my songs never played and the music that was playing was just terrible. short staffed again was only 1 person behind the bar , she was most certainly not friendly or happy to be there it took forever for our drinks and there was no line. Overall super odd/frustrating experience. We visited the business on a Thursday around 3:30pm. Their website and google page both said the business was open. Upon arrival the business was closed and all the swings on the porch was locked up. A woman came and let us in which we were super grateful for. Sat down, ordered, started a tab. Two of the three drinks we ordered included sprite/7up soda. Both drinks that had sprite/7up were flat. Seemed like maybe the soda syrup was empty. We let the woman know that our drinks tasted odd. She said okay and walked away, no offer to remake the drink or anything. We closed out the tab since our drinks were gross and no sense in wasting more money. We used the bathroom before leaving, in the womens front bathroom the toilet seat isn’t planted on the ground correctly. It was super wobbly, upon flushing, all the water from the bowl began to spill out from between the toilet and the tile floor. Super gross, disappointing, overall extremely odd visit.
