Wei Tasty Asian - Waco (Chinese Food) — Restaurant in Waco

After an adventure at Magnolia Silo Market i was craving some rice before i hit the road. Stopped by here to check it out. I never even got to order anything. Woman at counter kept telling me she would be right with me and did EVERYTHING but take my order. Lady in front of me finished ordering when i walked in. No one in front of mw or behind. Then she proceeded to take a phone call...which almost every place will tell you the customer in front of you is most important. Then instead of asking her to hold real quick...she was talking about a customers order, answering questions and taking an order in front of me. After, she said again...i will be right with you. Even customer at table was looking like what is she making you wait for? The place was dead. 1 customer seated. The woman at counter turned her back to me and was talking in spanish to people in kitchen through window and having conversation. Like really? I walked out. Walked next door. Despite lines...i was in & out fast with food in hand. Wei dropped the ball and missed out on money. I was so hungry i was gonna order like 3 entrees and edamame. But at least i got my rice fix and portion control next door. I wont be...

Thought we try this place for our sons birthday. It was a terrible experience from the start music was really loud we were trying to order our food and between the loud music, having to order from 10ft away because they still had tables blocking you and the staff talking really quite it took forever to get our order in. Next we bought two drinks so our kids can enjoy some lemonade at least that's what we thought. They were out and when notifying the worker they were out I got the who cares look with an ok response for they to just put an out of order sticker up. Then the food came we ordered four different plates and only one was really palletable the rest tasted bad or salty as all hell. Mine tasted like they put double the amount or recommended soy sauce. Was also nice to watch the workers sit around and look threw music on the smart to while also distracting my kids from eating with the ever changing music videos. Will not be back and will get the word out when friends/ family ask for a good...

UPDATE; Five hours later I woke up and vomited the food back up. I think the "frozen taste" was undercooked chicken.

Well, I arrived at 8:30pm (they close at 10pm) and I placed my order and was told after I paid it would be awhile because they were "cleaning the kitchen". I looked through the window and sure enough they were hoseing down everything and it appeared that none of the equipment was set up to cook anything.

The cashier told the order to the guys in the kitchen and they both looked at each other like "damn it".

My food arrives I ordered Honey Seasame Chicken with Fried Rice. All fried rice I've ever had has had vegetables in it. This rice doesn't taste fried or look it. The cashier affirmed that what I was served is the fried rice.

The chicken was crispy but you could still taste that frozen taste when you bite into it.

The sauce on the chicken is also little to be desired. Doesn't taste like any Honey Seasame I've ever had.

The 2 broccoli was good when dipped...
