Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Wadsworth

This is by far the worst Applebee's In a 20 mile radius. The service here is abysmal.For example, I order the 2 for 22 and our appetizer never came out. We also ordered another appetizer on top of the meal combo. This also never came out. Our drink order wasn't taken for 45 minutes since we were seated. The manager decided to discount us our buffalo wing appetizer that didn't come out which was nice , it would be illegal otherwise but still nice he at least knew the law. We did ask for our appetizer to go but not the one we ordered outside of the 2/22. Then for our 2 hour and 45 minute ordeal of nothing but bad service he comped us a total of 1.80 off the bill. With management like that I'm not surprised by the service. He didn't even come to the table himself he had to send another waitress to deal with a managerial issue. There is no hope for the staff if their manager has no sense of customer service. You should avoid this Applebee's like it's the plague the toxicity flows from the top...

Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by the most pleasant air of hometown fraternity and comfort. The hostess seated us promptly and with a bonafide smile. The greatest unexpected news touched my ears with the uttered phrase... "Half-price appetizers". You cannot imagine my elation, the burning grin upon my face after being told such wonderful news. But hark! What other heavenly news should chance upon me but the magical epiphany of "one dollar Long island iced teas"? By Beelzebub! My night became one of unhindered and fiscally responsible revelry to match that of the Halls of Valhalla! A detraction of one star has been applied only in light of the knowledge that the buffalo wings were simply of a subpar scoval unit. But for this unsightly blemish on an otherwise exquisite night out on the town, my review would be emphatically positive. After a recent visit, I decided to write this review. I went in last week with two family members expecting a very nice meal. Not only was I shocked, and surprised that that didn’t happen. I was also more surprised when I spoke to the manager who was the assistant manager who was rude and I totally unprofessional I eventually had to call and speak to the regional manager who cannot believe what I told him about this location and he assured me that he’ll be looking into it. All I can say Is this I do not recommend this restaurant I believe that the staff is unprofessional a couple of the waitresses as well as management management could’ve handled my complaint/concern very easily. However, they decided to just put it off and not deal with it. That is a very unprofessional way to deal with the public and 23 years in the hospitality industry.
