I just experienced the most unprofessional business behavior from the Store Manager and District Manager of the Store located in Wake Forest, NC off Stadium Drive. My daughter is a minor who was employed there for several months. The store manager called me and my daughter into the store for a sit down meeting, and terminated her employment in front of customers, other employees and classmates due to slowness and not knowing the menu in it's entirety. Iam completely disgusted with Jacob and Amber Rjoub's behavior. There have been no write-ups. No customer complaints. No records of discipline. My daughter has had no incidents of bad or disrespectful behavior. This came as a total surprise, and they devastated her. HOW DARE THEY DO THIS TO A CHILD! I will make sure I tell everyone I know about how two adult managers fired a 15 year old girl in front of customers, co-workers and CLASSMATES for slowness and not knowing the menu in its entirety. I should add, my daughter has a 3.8 GPA and has always been on the Honor Roll, so learning is not an issue, but its not like making sandwiches is rocket science... I am shocked that they called us in, sat us down in the middle of the store, knowing they were going to do this, and purposely made it a public display, which Jacob (District Manager) later told me that his Corporate HR Director instructed him to do. I find this hard to believe. I will make sure that everyone I know and talk to knows how Jersey Mikes treats minors and minorities. They were both UNBELIEVABLE and SHAMEFUL. I will NEVER purchase another product from Jersey Mike's, and I will do my absolute best to make sure no one who knows me or my family do the same. I have never been so disgusted by a...
Read morePosted 11/15/24 Just came home with “extra meat” sandwich. Hello Samantha! Thank you for your response. We’ve enjoyed an Italian #13 sandwich recently. I’m not sure how to expound upon our dissatisfaction with the sandwich we previously experienced beyond what the photo depicts. What recourse could you offer beyond improving what is produced by your team? This was an anomaly in the quality we have enjoyed up to this point. 2/28 addition- Hello Samantha! We’ve had consistently good experiences at Jersey Mike’s across the years. This was the most poorly made sandwich in that time. This was an online order, and it was sloppily made. 70% of the meat and toppings was on one half of the sandwich. I would imagine that you would meet with the team on duty that evening and address this performance. I appreciate your cut and paste response, but this could be fixed internally in my opinion. Online orders are not an optimal option apparently. We will continue to enjoy Jersey Mike’s at this location, because we believe the sandwiches are the best offered conveniently. Just has to be ordered personally, just as Chipotle has experienced lately as well. We do indeed love...
Read moreSharing a review specifically for Sean, the General Manager of the Wake Forest location
I came in during the dinner rush while all employees were juggling online and in-person orders. I have both an allergy to gluten and dairy, and had also made a mistake in my online order. Amidst the chaos of the dinner rush, Sean was calm and collected, and communicated kindly that he would check the status of my sandwich, and personally made the desired change when he saw it hadn’t been made yet. This was while still serving the needs of the customers in line. He continued to go above and beyond in making sure that I did not experience cross contamination or exposure to allergens, even remaking my sandwich immediately upon realizing that cheese had mistakenly been added. Throughout the interaction, he was extremely quick and efficient while also providing a customer service experience that never once made my allergies or complicated order feel like an inconvenience. He remained kind, calm in a chaotic environment, and attentive to the needs of employees and...
