My friend did a mobile order and I ordered off the kiosk at the same stall. They told us it would be about 8-10 minutes for the chicken tenders ordered from the kiosk. That’s fair, it was a Saturday afternoon and a little busy. My friend's mobile order came out after about 10 minutes. I waited about another 10 minutes before hitting the button again and asking about my order. A worker came outside and asked what I ordered and went back inside. After about 5 more minutes someone came out with food that wasn’t ours, then another 10 minutes later another worker came out and apologized and said “it’s not my fault but I think they’ve even started making your food yet and you should probably go somewhere else”. There was no explanation for why our food never came out or wasn’t even made, and there were no efforts made to justify the wait. They literally told us to go somewhere else, which is just horrible customer service. Now, I’m not the type of person to get upset at a fast food worker because I’ve been in their shoes, so I just gave a simply response and I saved my earful for this review. I assume what happened is an error in their system since my friends mobile order and my order from the kiosk were at the same stall, but they should have some way to work through this, as I’m sure we’re not the only ones to have done this before. I’ve been to this sonic many times, and have had pretty good experiences other than consistently long waits for food, but this experience really hurt my opinion on this location. I’ll probably only go there now for the occasional slushie during happy hour. This was just one really bad experience, and also only my experience, hopefully others have much better experiences there...
Read moreI love sonic but this location has seriously gone down hill and quick. Took forever to get the food and then some of it was missing (at least what they forgot was actually hot) what they did bring the first time was sitting so long that the lettuce was brown, wilted and mushy. The sad part is I ordered on the app and when I pulled in I could literally see my bag of food and drink sitting on the counter. After sitting there for 20 minutes with no food I eventually hit the call button to inquire about it and nobody even had the courtesy to answer. After sitting there for another 10 minutes randomly hitting the button with no response I eventually made my way to the door and had to knock until someone answered . He literally asked for my name went in looked at my ticket and just continued to walk away. At this point I'm beyond livid but since I ordered on the app I had already paid for my food so they kind of had me by the 🏀🏀. Fast forward 10 minutes and finally they brought our nasty cold food out. Which btw my wife couldn't even eat because it was so grease logged, soggy and cold. At least my burrito was hot since they forgot it and had to make it fresh. If I could give it negative stars I would. I would have been better off just throwing...
Read moreEasily the worst food experience I’ve ever had, and by the reviews it seems that is a common occurrence at this location. I waited 25 minutes for a small tater tot and a large drink that never came, I pressed the button to request a refund if the food wasn’t ready due to needing to be back at work. I was told that “you can have one” and then the speaker was cut off. When I rang the button again, she told me to hold on; I waited 1 minute before saying “I need a refund please” and next thing I know a carhop is coming at the door at me yelling and cussing. I once again requested a receipt for my refund and she walked in cussing and slamming. The manger returned with only part of my refund. I never received food or the rest of my refund due to a completely unsafe environment, made that way by their own “employees”. Customer service was called, I received a gift card but the thing is, that’s not resolving anything. My hard earned money is still in someone’s hands there, but clearly they needed it more than me.
