Charlie’s Place strikes a perfect balance between familiar comfort and culinary sophistication.

The mozzarella sticks were outstanding—garnished with fresh pesto and a dusting of grated cheese, they arrived with a dipping sauce that defied the usual marinara expectations. Easily the best version of this classic I’ve encountered.

The chicken wings were equally impressive—crispy on the outside, they were glazed, not drenched, allowing the skin to maintain its texture while delivering bold flavor. The gorgonzola blue cheese dip deserves its own mention—far more substantial than the usual afterthought it tends to be elsewhere.

We also sampled the pork belly bao buns, Caesar salad for something green, and rounded out the meal with some well-crafted cocktails.

We had an excellent meal at Charlie’s Place. Every bite was delicious! We started with the spring salad with ricotta and blood orange, which was fresh and vibrant. My husband had the chicken milanese, and I went with the snapper for our entrees—both dishes were fantastic from start to finish. The cocktails were yummy as well. Although we didn’t have a reservation, we were lucky enough to grab bar seats early in the evening.
