Lemme say, I shoulda listened to the other reviews....nah, won't go back. Got seated within 10 minutes....then sat for over 20 before someone came to take a soda order. Since he was there and we had already read everything on the menu as well as a spare copy of war and peace, we ordered 1 specialty pizza, 1 salad, and fried ravioli. 10 mins sodas came, fried ravioli too after another 10 mins. Ravs were standard sysco product and sauce came in a plastic lidded cup. 🤔Odd. Finished the app and our drinks. Waited some more. Can't find waiter. He finally materialized, now here over an hour, we ask for refills. Pizza and salad arrive finally, no drinks returned. 10 more mins pass, still no drinks. I finally stand and grab 1 of 2 other servers and ask her if she can find him so we can get the refills. She says no problem. About 10 mins later another woman comes out with drinks. We were basically done eating at this point and there were 2 slices left. Im not wasteful, and would normally take the extras home, but since we were now well over an hour and half in (remember, thin crust pizza, salad, app), I actually ate the last 2 slices because IT WOULD TAKE LESS TIME THAN WAITING FOR A BOX. But guess who materialized immediately after we are done with the check?! Yep, ghost man! So I look at the check...upcharge for using credit, grrrrr, but okay fine. Then I notice I was charged for 4 sodas! You know, the sodas i had to go hunt some other server down for? These are 12 oz fountain cups! That's not counting the ice!!! They cost pennies per cup! Come on man, really?! Pretty disappointing. Heres my advice when you walk in: look around. If half the diners' tables have no food on them, walk out or you're going to have the same experience we did. Fried ravioli, 3/5 Tomato, roasted pepper, mozz salad, 4/5 Rigatoni plum tomato basil pizza, 2.5/5 (really needed more sauce and any amount of basil) Past responses from management to reviews indicate a desire to improve future dining experiences. Heres my feedback to management. Too few servers, no doubt. Kitchen was obviously backed up and the fail point tonight, consider extra help. Add free fountain soda refills. Wait staff really need to check back in with diners and if they can't due to diner volume, then management should. Didn't see anyone in management the whole time there, and inside and outside were packed. Came in hopeful for a good, quick and easy meal, left feeling nickel and dimed and 2 hours further behind on my trip than planned.
UPDATE: I could have left my review above as it stands, however, I believe in honesty in the review process as that is the only way to improve. So, I just noticed that 3 days after my review above, the charges for the meal were reversed. There was no comment from management, so I cannot say for sure that this was intentional or related to my review, however, I can also draw no other conclusion. In that case, I am grateful for the token of restitution and this tells me that management is human and respectful of their diners and I appreciate that. I will take that action as an invitation to return, which I will certainly accept. Thank...
Read moreAfter multiple visits to this restaurant, I had hoped for an improved experience, but unfortunately, my most recent visit only reinforced my disappointment. While the restaurant is undeniably popular—particularly for its pizzas—the overall dining experience leaves much to be desired.
I only returned to this establishment because it was selected by the group I was with, as it is conveniently located. However, after yet another subpar experience, I felt compelled to write this review.
During this visit, I ordered a salad with salmon, expecting a fresh and well-balanced dish. Instead, the lettuce was wilted, the cheese was overpowering, and the salmon was severely overcooked with an unpleasantly strong fishy taste. I had no choice but to send it back. When the replacement salad arrived—this time without salmon—it was no better. The lettuce was still wilted, the tomatoes tasted past their prime, and the plate was overwhelmed with cheese and onions, with very little actual lettuce. Additionally, my friends shared similar dissatisfaction with their salads, noting issues with both quality and portion size.
The dining environment itself was less than ideal. The restaurant appeared to prioritize maximizing capacity over guest comfort, squeezing as many tables into the space as possible. This made for a cramped and noisy setting that detracted from the overall experience. While the server was courteous and professional, there was a noticeable lack of managerial oversight. Despite multiple concerns being raised, no member of the management team visited our table to address the issues or ensure guest satisfaction.
While this establishment may be a reliable choice for those seeking pizza, my experiences with other menu items have been consistently disappointing. A restaurant’s success should not rest solely on one popular dish while neglecting overall food quality and guest experience. Given the recurring issues, I would not recommend this restaurant to those seeking a well-rounded and thoughtfully...
Read moreOur server Miskowski was wonderful. She gave us wonderful advice what to order. We came her for a celebration and was not disappointed. Miskowski was always checking in as well. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because it was VERY loud and packed. The parking was PACKED. The service was quick and they were very attentive. The drink my MIL was like a frozen spiked hot chocolate called a mudslide. She ended up getting 2 of them! For appys, the spinach artichoke dip was amazing! Fresh, creamy, and delicious. I wish they came with chips instead of bread slices. The chili was great! Not too oily and had a bit of spice. I wasn’t crazy about the cheese. The special country vegetable soup was AMAZING! It had a chicken broth base but the veggies were so fresh and had great taste. The buffalo wings, were pretty good had a bit of heat. The wings were average. The California pie was really really very good. The plain pie was AMAZING! Super cheesy, the sauce wasn’t over powering, the slices were thin and crispy. The pies came out bubbling and man it was so great. The chicken parm with vodka sauce was ok. Wasn’t crazy about the sauce but the chicken itself was juicy and wasn’t over friend. My bf got the burger and he said it was great. I liked the fries! My MIL got the fettuccine carbonara special and she really enjoyed it. I’m not crazy about white sauce but it was very good. The peanut butter pie was okay. Wasn’t crazy about it. The apple strudel was warm and delicious! The lava cake was okay. Overall would...
