Absolute worst experience out of every time I’ve ever been at Culver’s today. I pull up to the drive threw and wait for 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to say they’d be with me in a minute okay no problem I’m not that fat I can wait a few minutes for my food. Meanwhile the other lane processes 2 cars before anyone comes back to take my order. Now it’s been 20minutes so I say hello? Man comes on the mich same voice that told me they’d be with me in a minute tells me I’m sorry I didn’t realize you didn’t place your order already give me just a moment and I will be with you… okay no problem then another car pulls up and they get to order before me again at this point I was pretty annoyed so I decided to turn around and god through the other lane where I get helped right away. I place my order for 1 Culver’s deluxe meal with a large coke onion rings instead of fries and a large chocolate concrete mixer with strawberries and banana and a large butter burger with a large sprite large onion rings and a vanilla concrete mixer with Oreos and peanut butter cups with 4cups of ranch and packets of hot sauce. Pay for the order and am told to wait just up ahead and I’d get my food in just a moment. Okay no problem. I go wait for my food and a employee comes to my car and tells me they don’t have vanilla ice cream and asks if I want chocolate which was fine no harm there. Then in proceeds to be another 10+ minutes till they come out with my food. At this point I pull up and my concrete mixer spills all over my car because it was completely melted by the time it was given to me then I getting increasingly annoyed check my food which is now all like warm at absolute best. Out of all the frustration and not wanting to come of being hostile I drove away only to get home and realized I wasn’t even served the correct order at all. Instead of getting 2 large onion rings and a butter burger and a Culver’s deluxe I got 1 onion ring and 1 large fry and 2 Culver’s deluxe meals. So now I spent over an hour at the location getting forgotten about allowed to place a order for items that were out of stock a melted concrete mixer like warm and incorrect food. This is an amazing franchise and most of my visits here are great or at least at par but at this point I’m just going to drive down the the one on alpine or in...
Read moreAs a former employee at two separate culvers, this experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered just one chicken sandwich, which I know take 5-7 minutes to fry from frozen. You genuinely have to just throw it in the basket and press a button, but this procedure somehow took them 15 minutes to do. Fryer and grill food specifically is dropped as soon as you order it at the microphone. I was the first person in line waiting for 12 of those 15 minutes, and the inside of the actual restaurant wasn’t busy either. Not only the long wait, but the food itself wasn’t up to quality either. All of our buns come pre-cooked, and we’re instructed to butter them and toast them in a toasting machine before serving. The usual golden brown bun was replaced with a doughy, chewy undercooked one. I could actually taste the fact that it was undercooked, something I have NEVER seen after four years working in the kitchen. If the entire rack of buns was received like this, the managers of the store should not have accepted it the same way you wouldn’t accept spoiled meat. If it was just this bun amongst the entire rack, whoever was on buns should have discarded of it instead of deeming it fit to be served. There is a timer on the bagger/set position that lists how long the customer has been waiting, and nobody thought to see the 15 minute wait and even apologize or update me on the status of...
Read moreAt 8:23pm, I had asked for a refund of $67.97 for a carry out order. One of the food service workers was touching herself repeatedly including putting her hand in the back of her pants while touching everything in front of everyone. I had said excuse me, " Can you kindly walk away, change your gloves, & wash your hands?" The Culver's employee stopped stood for a moment, gave me a dirty look while rolling her eyes & said not right now. I replied back with then I would like a full refund because that is not how you work in food service. It's quite obvious that this establishment would rather turn away profit then doing the right thing. My recommendation would be that the staff including the manager that had given me the refund be educated in food service as well as customer service. The staffs hair should be above the neckline with a hat or hairnet. Practice good hand washing techniques. Further more, someone who tells me not right now is concerning in several ways. Maybe the health department needs to pay a visit. Secret shoppers is also a good idea to observe this location. Hopefully with this review it will go into the right hands & that Culver's cleans...
