I stopped by this Starbucks for a coffee, and as soon as I approached the counter, the cashier asked if I was there to pick up a DoorDash order. I was a bit taken aback—not because the question was offensive in itself, but because it felt like an assumption based solely on how I looked.
I understand that things can get busy and staff might be trying to streamline service, but it’s important to treat every customer with the same level of attention and respect. I wasn’t wearing anything that indicated I was a delivery driver, and I hadn’t said anything before being asked. It made me feel stereotyped, and that’s not a great feeling to carry into your day—especially when you’re just trying to grab a coffee.

Plenty of parking right on the corner of Lake Michigan Drive in Wilson . The restaurant was very clean, free Wi-Fi and very modern . This Starbucks has wheelchair access accessibility, as well as seating outside and a nice clean patio. Exiting onto Lake Michigan Drive can be very difficult.
