I had a delicious amazing Hong Kong pineapple bun with butter at Kee Wah Bakery. It was fresh out of the oven, warm, and incredibly delicious. The bun was perfectly golden with a crisp, sweet top and a soft, fluffy center. The slab of butter tucked inside added the perfect richness. It was brought me back to being in Asia!
The bakery also had a wide selection of other baked goods and treats that all looked equally tempting. I seriously wanted to buy everything! You can tell they put a lot of care into their baking - everything fresh as I could see them taking the trays out of the oven and wired for it to cool before putting it into plastic bags.

Read moreI came to grab something sweet after eating The Boiling Crab and I was pretty disappointed. I asked for a fruit tart and the lady said she would go check. She came back and handed me the fruit tart. First off the size looks smaller than most fruit tarts I've had and it wasn't the mini fruit tart either. It looked good though so I wasn't complaining. When I tried it I noticed the tart was pretty hard which I found confusing. It was okay, then I gave a bite to my girlfriend and I took another bite of it and it was disgusting. Compared to the menu that illustrates all of the baked goods offered, the actual items were a lot smaller. Their croissant was nearly half the size of the ones at the bakeries that we usually go to for the same price. If you’re planning on stopping by, I recommend getting their freshly baked items in the glass window and not the prepackaged items. Their egg tarts and chicken pies looked really good and well-baked compared to everything else.
The interior is very small and cramped due to all of the boxes that they keep out in the open. The shop is located in a popular plaza so it can get crowded, but you should be able to find a spot with everyone going in and out at all...
