The service provided by this restaurant is terrible!!!!!! They don't even serve us in order!
Here's what happened today: We went to lunch at 2pm this afternoon(which is 3 adults and 1 child). Only drinks were served after ordering, and NO FOOD was served IN HALF HOUR. The strange thing is that the table next to us were arrived 20 minutes later than us, and all the dishes were served!!!
So we asked the waitress to remind them, and she explained that the dishes might be different. The problem was that the Stewed Lamb soup that we ordered same as them was also served to them! After asked, they just gave us a cold dishes which is Sea Kelp Salad!
Then another half hour passed, and the other dishes were still not served yet. The child was starving at this time! And we watched as basins of Stewed Lamb soup were brought out passed our table, but not for us at all…
An hour later, the Salt-pepper lamb chops and Boiled spicy beef were finally served. After we finished these two dishes, the other two dishes were still not served yet!!
We couldn't bear it any more, so we sent back the dishes that weren't served, paid and left. So far no one has saying apologized to us! !
That led us have to find another restaurant to eat at. For the first time in my life, I had a meal at two restaurants🥲 This is...
Read moreLet's get to the point: BEST LAMB SOUP EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. 🤯 Don't get me wrong, the lamb dumplings and the meat pies are both freaking excellent, but the soup just takes it to a whole next level. It's amazingly savory and flavorful and you can really taste the quality lamb and all that lamb flavor in the broth itself. 🤤
There is a full sauce bar where you can make sauces for your soup or your dumplings. The sauce bar also has complimentary soup broth for you to have with your meal or refill your soup, (though this is a much watered down version of the real entree soup item.) They also give out complimentary milk tea, edamame, and snack jerky for the table. We also got complimentary milk tea while you wait, as the line can be long during peak hours, (though it does move fast.) So much free stuff! 😁
My friend who is from Inner Mongolia was the one that took me here, and even she was impressed and said this is the closest thing to the food from her hometown. 👍
This was such a great experience and the food was so freaking good that this has become a destination spot whenever I can make it out here to...
Read moreThis is one of those restaurants I didn’t like at first because I didn’t order the right dishes, lol. My friend Wang lovvvvvvvvves this place, and whenever he visits LA, this is the spot. He usually orders milk tea (奶茶), beef jerky (原味牛肉干不加热), lamb barbecue (烧卖), salt and pepper lamb chops (椒盐羊排), and stewed lamb with oysters (生蚝爱好者的羊汤). I love every single one of these dishes. Their oysters are huge, and the beef jerky is honestly the best I’ve ever had. But the last time I ordered the beef jerky, they steamed it and served it warm/hot for my to-go order, which was super confusing! I should’ve told them to leave it as is, no touch-ups. I’ll definitely do that next time. Oh, and they have unlimited soup at the back counter—it tastes so wholesome. I’m drooling just writing this review, lol. They’re one of my top favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. Parking’s tricky, though—don’t park next door because they’ll tow your car. You’ll need some persistence to find a good spot...
