I was first introduced to Narrow’s Crossing Restaurant & Lounge nearly 30 years ago by a former colleague, and I’ve been coming back ever since. What first brought me in was a recommendation, but what keeps me coming back time and time again is the unbeatable combination of great food, warm atmosphere, and top-notch entertainment. No visit to the area feels complete without a stop at Narrow’s Crossing.
One of the standout reasons I first came here was to see Steve Poole, an incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist and bartender. His skill behind the bar is just as impressive as his musical abilities, and he brings a level of charisma and energy that adds to the restaurant’s charm. Whether he’s mixing up a perfect cocktail or playing a tune, he makes every visit special.
The food at Narrow’s Crossing is consistently delicious and well-prepared. The menu offers a solid variety, with fresh ingredients and flavors that always hit the mark. Whether you’re in the mood for seafood, a hearty entrée, or just a quick bite, you can expect a meal that’s both satisfying and well-executed. Pair that with a drink from the bar, and you’ve got the perfect combination for a great night out.
Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere is what truly makes this place special. The staff is always friendly, making you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting feel that makes it just as great for a casual dinner as it is for a lively night with friends. The entertainment is always a highlight, with live music that enhances the experience rather than overpowering it.
Even after all these years, Narrow’s Crossing remains a place where I know I can count on a good meal, great conversation, and a memorable night. It’s rare to find a restaurant that maintains such a high level of quality and consistency for decades, but they’ve done just that.
If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. Whether you come for the food, the music, or just to soak in the welcoming atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed. Narrow’s Crossing...
Read moreLove this restaurant. The food is always great. I've always had a great experience every time I come here. Today I came on my break so I had a crunch on time. I originally ordered for take out but decised to dine in instead just because of time and it was a bit cold out.
I got the BBQ chicken sandwich, a stuffed quahog, cup of chowder and a caesar salad. All were great. I tested out putting some of my stuffed quahog into my clam chowder and it was amazing. Just something I wanted to test out of curiosity. This restaurant is a gem.
There's windows down the side facing the water way and inside they have pictures from around the area of the restaurant.
The staff are exceptional as well. Very attentive to make sure you have everything you need. Definitely reccomend if you're in...
Read moreThe food and the service were outstanding. I would highly recommend. I had a stuffed quahog as an appetizer, others in my party had the clam chowder. They were both delicious. We had clam plates, sirloin tips and grilled salmon for entrees. Nobody was disappointed. Our only complaint was the party in front of us were very loud, we couldn't carry on a conversation between ourselves because they were so loud. We mentioned it to the waitress as we were leaving, she said we were not the first to complain, but I did not see or hear the waitstaff speak to them. That is the reason for the 4 stars for atmosphere. The fact that every seat has a water view is incredible. I would highly recommend ...
