I heard good things about the place but I was disappointed. After struggling to get parked, you go inside and are greeted at a front door/patio area. If you are dining in, this person tells you to go set in this patio area and gives you a menu to prepare to order. They also tell you that when called a waiter/waitress will meet you, tell you where your table is, and go to prepare your table. You will then enter the restaurant and order at the counter. After ordering, you will get your drink and have a seat. The greeter tells you that after you go to your table, the staff will take care of everything else, bringing my food, refills, etc. This is not true. I did all the above, and after they brought my food out, I was on my own. I had to get up and get my own salt, flag someone down for some Bar-B-Q sauce, and refill my own drinks. The food was pretty good but priced like it was great. I will say that little cheese muffin was fabulous. The reason I had to ask for sauce is because my sandwich had very little on it. It's called a Bar-B-Q sandwich. This place is setup up like a fast food/sit down hybrid but ran like a fast food joint. Not to mention that leaving is dangerous. You have to back out into the 2 lane drive thru traffic, then drive against them to get back to the entrance. Don't follow the arrows that say exit, you will end up behind the business next door with no exit. You and the line of traffic that followed you will find yourself trying to do 5 point turn arounds so you can all drive back out the way you came, against the 2 lane drive thru traffic. Flavorful, juicy, smoked tender meats, perfectly seasoned sides, OMG the mini rolls/biscuits, you'll eat a half dozen before you know it... the corn had me in a choke hold. My husband stopped and looked at me because I devoured it like I was in a scene from Looneytoons... Never have I ever, OMG.
We ordered huge through the D/T without ordering everything as we plan to dine in to finish trying menu items. We're happy you're here and hope you're here to stay. The portions are huge. My husband had the 19.99 rib dinner, and he couldn't finish it, nor did he have to order extra to have enough. Anywhere else in town, that would have been the case. The potato I had could easily feed 4.
Overall, it's what you want if you're looking for slow smoked, tender, flavorful BBQ food. I did give service a 4 because I watched a young lady come out on 4 different occasions walking to different cars trying to figure out what belonged to who, but she never handed the bags off, so 4. I figured she was new and probably still learning the system. Yes, even my order was taken to another car before finding me. What was impressive, though, for it being a 1st time and a 50-plus dollar order in the DT was everything was in my bag, nothing was missing all the extras I asked for was there, condiments, utensils and all.
Wait a minute, the banana pudding... me and my 7 year old was about to go toe to toe for it, lol. It's so good y'all it really tastes like the recipe in my family passed down from Nana, and I COOKS, okay! Job well done. I can't wait to dine in...

Because the first time I ordered to go my order was wrong I accepted that one to tonight is my last straw I ordered a $30 plate and when they brought my food OMG IT WAS HORRIBLE THE CHICKEN WAS COLD AND OVER COOKED LOKE BURNT AND MY BRISKET WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MARBLE IT WAS THE BUTNT ENDS OF FAT WITH TOO MUCH SAUCE TO TRY TO COVER IP THE MESS ON MY PLAYE I TOLD THEM I DIDNT Want that food and so they brought me another plate and the brisket was totally burnt and dried out as if it had been sitting there and tried to be microwave or reheated I explained to them again. I donāt want this and I left so the next day I called to speak with the manager and a young lady by the name of Ashley answer the phone who told me that the managers were too busy to come to the phone to hear customers complaint, I said OK. She told me to hold on again. She got a girl by the name of Chelsea to answer my call and she said the managers are in a meeting and they cannot speak with you.
