This was my first time at a JJ's and I wasn't impressed at all. We were the only ones there, there were three employees behind the counter and yet the service was terrible! They were so rude, I guess they were having a party in the back that we interrupted or something. Then as I was ordering another gal started making my sandwich and I hadn't even told them what type of bread I wanted and the gal taking the order didn't ask. Of course the gal making the sandwich was a bit ticked because she started making it with white bread and we all wanted wheat so she ended up having to waste it. Next time ask first.
As we started eating I realized there was no salt and pepper on the table so went back to the counter to request some, there was no one in site! I tried to call out to them, nothing! Another customer came in and asked me where everyone was, I told her I had no idea. They obviously have a bell or something that alerts them when someone comes in because they did then come out after another minute. When I asked for S&P I was told they were all out of pepper! What the heck? Go to the store and buy some! They had no packets nor any in the shakers they had on the sandwich board. Bad.
I did give them 3 stars because the food was fresh and tasty. But if I could rate the service and food separately I'd give the service 1 star.
I hope a manager reads this! Oh one other thing, I requested pickles on the side because I was afraid I might not like them but was told I'd be charged for a side if they didn't put them on the sandwich for me. I just skipped them because if I didn't like them they'd still leave the juice behind even if I picked them off. That's a bad policy when they're listed as a freebie.
This will likely be my last visit to a JJ's as well...
Read moreOn 9/7/22. A ‘manager’, Tiffany, left me on hold for seventeen minutes, before hanging up on me.
This is after I was called and told they needed to slice more turkey, and if I’d wait - I said sure. Thirty minutes later I was called again, and informed there was no turkey at all.
I asked to speak to a manger, Tiffany, as it turned out.
When asked how such an oversight could occur, she blamed others for not ordering enough food (but she’s a man anger?). During the conversation - she cancelled my order without my input, or asking me if there’s anything else I wanted.
Today (9/15) I received a call after placing an online order. NO BREAD.
Asked for a manger - Let me tell you how excited I was to get Tiffany again.
I self-referenced as the customer who had their order cancelled last week due to turkey needing to be cut, and then their not being any.
Before I can finish that basic recollection, she does the same tactic of putting me on hold (or the phone on mute) before disconnecting the call.
Not willing to accept this disrespect a second week in a row, I call back. Clearly you have caller ID in your store, because Tiffany picked the phone up and immediately hung up on me. She and I repeated this process twice more.
She seems very flippant in how she represents your brand, and if she’s this comfortable doing this with me, odds are any customer that she doesn’t want to engage with…she’ll behave the same to them.
I order weekly, minimum - but that’s about to come to a screeching halt.
I’d rather eat Subway, with someone courteous than deal with such a malignant, toxic “personality” at...
Read moreI will preface this by saying we did not get the employee names. My husband and I went on Feb. 28 around 5:40pm. One employee was a white female the other a black female. Our order was taken by the black female and she was pleasant. The sandwich maker(white female) is where the problem came from. She made my husband's sandwich fine. She grabbed a roll to make mine...well it had something on top of it like mayo or something which I didn't see. What I did see is that she took some old balled up bread that was sitting on the counter and was wiping my roll with it. I asked her did you just wipe my bread with some old bread from off the counter and she replied yeah like it was ok. I told her no I do not want that bread. She got an attitude and grabbed another roll and made my sandwich. As she was bagging our order she did not throw away the roll she wiped with the "bread rag". My husband asked her are you going to keep that roll and use it. She just looked at him rolled her eyes and sighed again. He said throw that away she sighed and then tossed it. We were not pleased. We have eaten here before with no issues and have never seen anything like that done before. I am very reluctant to go back if that is what they do. I sent the same review when I got an email from the company website that night. I have not been contacted about it yet so I'm...
