I feel bad posting this, but I have been here several different times (maybe 10 in the last year) and every time has been a bad experience. I keep coming back because I just assume it’s going to get better but it hasn’t.
The staff is nice, but unprofessional and they rarely show any urgency. I always love workers with personality who have fun at their jobs but these girls are much more play than work. Lots of side conversations while people are waiting for their orders. During at least 3 of my visits, orders were made incorrectly and once, I waited for 10 minutes to find out that my order was accidentally skipped entirely.
During the summer, the place has a certain smell that lingers. It’s a mix between spoiled food and the faint smell of garbage. There are often fruit flies flying around as well.
On several occasions, my blizzard (and the other blizzards in my group) was prepared with what I’m assuming was expired (or close to expired) ice cream, because it tasted bad and couldn’t even be finished.
Several items were prepared incorrectly including normal blizzards and an Orange Julius (super watery).
This is the honest review with no ill-intent toward the store. Once or twice with a bad experience is one thing, but more than that typically means that’s just how the store is run. I hope the management can speak to the staff and help change things...
Read moreHorrible staff on the day I went August 9th. My friend and I wanted to order a hotdog. She wanted a chili dog, they didn't have any chili so she tried to order a classic hotdog with relish, onions, mustard and ketchup. They didn't have the relish. So she was going to get it without the relish and chili. The first young lady looked like a deer caught in the headlights because she didn't know how to ring it up. Another young lady came to try to help her but couldn't do it. The problem was there was no button for the classic dog, only for the chili dog which cost more than the classic. I asked them to call the manager to see if she can override it for the correct amount. She couldn't. My friend gave up at that point and left. I tried to order a cheese dog and went through the same thing, they didn't know how to ring it up. I gave up at that point also. We've both had ice cream and a slushie before and it was good. My friend also had a chili dog from there and it was good. The difference is the staff. The young lady that took care of us that day was working by herself but still managed to get the order right and was pleasant. Read moreI went to pick up a door dash order and waited for 20 minutes. People who came in after me received their orders before me and I only had two blizzards. The girl at the counter I think her name was Jasmine was super nice but the rest of the employees in the back making the orders had zero common sense or work ethic. The guy was scolding Jasmine about keeping a good attitude while taking orders but he was the one with an attitude problem and was very unprofessional. The girls making the orders kept scratching their heads while preparing the food. They should be wearing hair nets and washing their hands. I wasn't the only one who saw this another customer pointed it out as well. They were serving blizzards without cone lids or lids period. Plus they were all dripping on the outside of the cups. When I finally did receive my order it was melting all over the inside of the bag that I had to deliver to a customer. This place is a complete mess and needs some serious cleaning. The guy working slipped and fell while he was yelling at the girls in the back. Everybody needs to be retrained or replaced besides Jasmine, she was the only one...
