Hadn't been to a Subway in a very long time and stopped at this location as it is near my house and another memberof my family desired to have a sandwich. Plus we had coupons for a bogo that we wanted to use, unfortunately our dumb butts didn't bother to check the expiration dates...
Then we came up with the idea to try the Subway app. There Subway had a full menu and a pick of locations to choose from. There was also a online deal to for ordering online. At first we were going to do that until it came to payment methods. Their system wanted one's billing address and other information and based on that (even though they offered a BOGO deal) we decided against that. To much information requested that would be stored inside Subway's computer system. So opped for going into the store to order
We were greeted promptly by a young man who was behind the counter. He was polite, professional. He asked us what we wanted to order and what bread and toppings we wanted on both sandwiches.
We ordered two foot longs, one Black Forest Ham with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and red onion. Unfortunately, we informed that the store was out of red onion. So be it..not a big deal. The other sandwich was a tuna fish with all the toppings and a meal deal. (Adds a bag of chips and Medium pop)
So as we waited for our order this writer, since being in the restaurant industry for years, looked over the counters and cleanliness of the restaurant. For the most part the restaurant was clean but for the lettuce/add on counter left a little bit desired. While the counter felt cold there was lettuce that fallen into the tomatoes and had not been strained out. The tomatoes could had been spruced up with some new ones too. It's not that they were bad looking but new ones probably could had a better presence.
We were handed our sandwiches and proceeded to pay and had to grab our own cup and left.
Overall the experience wasn't terrible but remembered why we hadn't been to a Subway in a long time. Unfortunately, the quality is not what it use to be especially with other competitors...
Read moreThis is the worst subway I have ever been to. I went in at 10:20 and they apparently close at 10:30 although Google says 11. They say "I'll be with you in a moment" three minutes go buy as the incompetent employee continues to wipe the counter down as slow as humanly possible. I then say how much longer the girl says "a few minutes" although she said one moment 3 minutes prior. I then get frustrated and say you are still open can you serve your customer? The girl sweeping says should I help to which the slow counter wiper says no. I get upset and ask again when I will be helped. They rudely asked me to "be patient" which I had been for the 3 minutes I was waiting beyond the "moment" the girl mentioned. Then I waited two more until I said finally never mind. As I'm walking out both employees condescendingly said "have a nice night." I then called to ask for corporates number and they "didn't know it" and said there was no manager to speak with. Read moreSpent $30+ for 2 foot long subs only to get ALLLLL the way home and find out the subs were made wrong! BMTs have more meat than just 2 pieces of pepperoni and 4 pieces salami.. Where's the ham and the other pieces of pepperoni?? I call and spoke with a young lady, she informed me that it was a new girl that had made my subs. Okay understandable, everyone has to learn. I explained I wasn't coming all the way back there being I live at 9 and John R. She took my phone number said she'd leave the manager a note to call me. Welllllllllllllllllllll THAT never happened and every time I call "sorry she's not in right now, can I help you?" Management is terrible!! When you have a customer complaint, you really should address the problem a.s.a.p! Jimmy John's will get my business from now on being Subway has been a disappointment the last several times I've been, multiple locations including 2 in Ohio. Do better Subway or you'll be on the long list of corporations closing...
