I order through the mobile app exclusively and it always takes forever to get our food because no one checks the screens to see they got an order. I tell them when I come in that I'm a mobile order to go. I usually get 2-3 items, always a cone and a shake and sometimes a smoothie or sundae. They always make the cone first and then it's another 10 minute wait for the rest. The average wait time is 15 minutes for those 2-3 items, mainly because they keep serving people who ordered before me. They prioritize drive through as well.
They ALWAYS stick a spoon in an item without bothering to check that the screen says TO GO. I've watched numerous people have to ask for a lid while they wasted spoons and ice cream by having to throw it out to put a lid on.
You NEVER get a consistent amount of ice cream, it's completely random and hardly ever do you get that signature swirl on top. They don't know how to make a decent looking cone and they're always lopsided and about to fall off.
This location is obviously lacking proper training. They have more staff than I have ever seen at any location but nothing comes out nearly as fast.
Edit: June 2021. Somehow even worse than before! Expect to wait an hour in line just to get your order wrong. Do NOT mobile order anymore because they push your order off and can't see it anymore and don't know how to pull it back up. I told the girl that my first trip was under $4 for a Dog and Pretzels. She said Nope, no combo like that. Si, I placed the order for $8.03. as I'm pulling around, I finally get a good look at the huge menu. There it was... "Snack: 2 items for $5." Chili Dog was one. Pretzels was another. Your crew needs to know the menu ordering options. I might not know the word "Snack" was use as a Deal option, but the girl should have figured out that was the cheap way to go. I'll continue to come to this location, but I sure paid extra money during 4 out of my first 5 trips to learn how I can afford DQ.
3rd trip for Pretzels. First... Hot Dog + Pretzels. Price was so low, I thought the charge was wrong. 2nd... 2 Pretzel Orders cost a little more than the first order. 3rd...Tried the new A1 Double Stacker (pretty decent) + 1 order of Pretzels. Price...Yikes! That's why 3 stars. The Pretzels get 4 stars, so additive, but pricey for the single order. I prefer mustard on pretzels, but I save the cheese cup for homemade Ham Sandwiches or on veggies. The char on the burger patties was great, but the sandwich was a little dry (needs more saucing.) Read moreHad an issue with Jaylyn having a screaming match with his gf in the bathroom. The only other employee did not know how to do anything except take orders, she could not make food or provide a refund so we were stuck in the store for 20 min just listening to jaylyn argue with his gf and the other employee panic. She did not even know how to call her manager. Finally Jaylyn comes out and refuses to give the other employee the managers number. He argues with us about providing a refund because now he can make the food. He cussed us out claiming he was arguing with his mom and it doesnt matter that we were stuck waiting hes the store manager he can do whatever he wants. Everything was filmed. After this occurence I called the store multiple times for Jaylyn to answer and refuse to provide another manager or corporate number. I then called local DQs and received the number to the GM I called and left a message they sent a text 3 days later at 12:24AM telling me they work 10PM-6AM so they do not know how they will assist me. Basically the store employees and management is garbage. They simply DO NOT CARE. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment.
